It is quite surprising how well the dems organized, and how quickly this all came together, after Biden gracefully bowed out. It seems to have taken Trump and the GOP off guard. Then again, Trump has never been very good at thinking on his feet. He lacks creativity, and shoots himself in the foot, when he goes off script.

 

This is the beginning of the end for him. I predict a second election loss, and we all know that would crush him, and eliminate his toxic family from future politics. And the planet would celebrate such an event, with glee.

Absolutely! As I predicted, Trump is running away from the debate as if it were a healthy entree or the unvarnished truth. 

 

We need more appearances by JD Vance to outline his vision for America and women's place in it. Who knew he was so flexible that he had the ability to insert both of his feet into his mouth simultaneously? The man is a treasure, and the only good thing I think that Don Jr. has ever done is recommend him to the Old Man to be VP. Thanks Don Jr!

 

And we surely need more video of the two candidates and their competing visions, appearances and elocution. This is going to be a landslide, and the opposite direction of what it would have been had Biden not stepped down.

 

Was it planned or did it somehow just all come together? I suspect the latter rather than the former, since I haven't really seen the Democrats demonstrate much of an ability to take initiative and make bold moves in politics in the last decade. That's why there are so many fragile old folks in charge from Biden to Schumer to Pelosi, and how they managed to keep losing elections they should have won by continuously ignoring the post-Boomer generations who are their main voting base. Now that it's been forced upon them, those generations are going to remake America (finally!) into the social democracy that it's destined to become. I salute the good work they did to keep the flame alive and fend off the Fascists, but their job is done and it's time for them to fade into the background and play peekaboo with their grandkids.

also tired of daily watching the bias against trump on here in regards to language used. censorship gone one way really. i remember a few years back i was moderated and banned from here for calling trump the dancing orange monkey. what i said is baby speak compared to the things he is called on here daily. 

 

shoot a few weeks ago you had people calling for him to be waterboarded and shot. and yet trump is the one flaming violence and anti america ?

 

i don't recall people on here calling for biden to be shot or waterboarded or any of the other vile things that were said. i recall them saying biden was too old and not mentally fit. for which they were ridiculed and attacked.  including myself. people attacked others for no reason other than ones own personal politically driven ideology. for something that ended up being 100 percent true.

I gave you a like on this post. Not because I agree with all you state but because you have provided a reasonably expansive opinion with associated historical basis.

Unfortunately I genuinely believe Trump via the GOP has generated and established a mindless cult following to supersede cognitive informed political opinion.

Sadly I also think Trump has been enabled and manipulated to believe in his own justification for being above and beyond common law.
