Nope.  We're the product, not the customers.

2 day old gas station sushi comes to mind.

On the internet I am often asked to prove I am not a robot

so now  I am paranoid and suspect myself!!

If I was a robot, would I realy know it?

Reminds me of the book "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" which the 1982 movie Bladerunner was based on.

Greetings from the Matrix ...

But , are you capable of having feelings ? ( Love , hate , empathy etc ...? )

Bots don't have that .

Sophisticated bots  would rely on learning algorithms , but that won't make them feel something ...

If I smack my head against a wall , I would feel pain , and that experience would help me to avoid painful situations in the future ...

But wait , that is similar to learning algorithms ...

We are here just to be able to prove that , in reality , we don't exist ?

I'll go and ask my wife if she thinks that I really exist ... but she will probably hit me on the head with something and ask if I feel it ?

I will have to go into meditation mode ... hopefully nobody pulls the plug .

If you don't know it means you are.

It's like going to a restaurant where I enjoy the buffet.  But I sure wish some of the nimrods would keep their fingers out of the food and use the tongs.

that is a brilliant analogy.

even though I'm sure that I am one of those inconsiderate members you are referring to.

bravo, sir!

bob.
