Watawattana Posted August 5, 2024 Posted August 5, 2024 I reckon Windsor Davies in the classic British sitcom 'It Ain't Half Hot Mum' summed it up quite well... 2
CanadaSam Posted August 5, 2024 Posted August 5, 2024 When will the gov't learn that only ONE deportation of a misbehaving tourist does WONDERS in their home country, to stop this from happening again, by excessive media coverage at home, to educate their people on how to behave when in foreign lands? This is a great plan, now let's not go overboard, and just throw these jerks out, and watch the positive results almost immediately! Let's not do the overkill thing and start throwing people out willy-nilly, ok? 1 1
champers Posted August 5, 2024 Posted August 5, 2024 All the Kuwaitis will have diplomatic passports; they will be going nowhere until they want to. 1

MalcolmB Posted August 5, 2024 Posted August 5, 2024 I hope they don’t start deporting us UK sexpats. The girls need us. 1

Dave5710 Posted August 5, 2024 Posted August 5, 2024 The punishment for foreigners’ disrespect of the country and its people is not harsh enough in most cases. Leniency towards foreigners committing crimes there will only hurt tourism not help it!

If they had diplomatic passports, which would have been highly unlikely, they would have used them when they got nicked. They're just young thugs that are used to getting away with this sort of stuff. Fine, deport and ban them from returning and it sends a message to others. 1 2 1
champers Posted August 6, 2024 Posted August 6, 2024 It is an issue that has cropped up before and diplomatic passports were mentioned then. I am prepared to change my mind when I read reports of actual deportations. 1

Most of the properly rich Kuwaitis ship their supercar car to London and wreak havoc there with no regard to traffic law or parking charge, these kids are on rented honda waves, I doubt they're truly rich enough to have diplomatic passport 1

Furioso Posted August 6, 2024 Posted August 6, 2024 All Kuwait hooligans have the right to due process. Said no one, ever.

Would Thai folk go to Kuwait and break the law for all to see........? 🤔 I don't think so....The Kuaitis are just tools showing off, thinking nothing will happen to them, so send them back where they came from, perhaps a country where they cannot do what they are doing here......😉
Hellfire Posted August 6, 2024 Posted August 6, 2024 I would prefer the police to deport thousands of old western paedophils first.
