The line they used for me was my premium went up exactly the amount as the discount, each year. I asked why? They said because the parts cost more every year so they had to boost my premium, even though I made no claims.

A friend of mine recently drove home drunk and got in an accident, she wasn't officially charged with the DUI, nor was she arrested, likely because there was not another vehicle involved and she was sharp enough to pay off the cops. However she was well over the limit and her insurance was canceled, does anybody have any tips for how she can get insurance at this point, and which companies might cover her?

Her big mistake was calling her insurance company whilst drunk.

Mt friend's wife crashed his Fortuner into a bridge parapet at 3am, she called her insurance company who insisted she take an alcohol test at the local private hospital and then denied her claim.

Is she having trouble getting insurance?
