Sadiq Khan Advocates for Prioritizing Prisoners in Housing Queue
Well much as I detest this individual, I do think he has raised a valid point. We cannot simply throw prisoners out onto the streets at the end of their prison sentence and expect them all to integrate seamlessly back into society as law abiding citizens without some sort of support. Anybody who thinks differently is delusional However they should never receive preferential treatment over and above that given to law abiding people, it should never appear that crime does infact pay. Indeed any foreign prisoners ( presumably the ones he really cares about) should have been deported immediately on conviction as a mandatory part of any punishment they receive. He says " it’s the honest conversation we’ve got to have with people across our respective cities and stuff to explain the reason we’re doing this." but in reality there is an awful lot more that needs to be explained to the long suffering British public, or "extreme right wing " as they are now called -

Trump Vows to Make Overtime Pay Tax-Free: ‘Finally Catch a Break’
Tug maybe he did not think of this the first time around. Harris could have kept our borders secure not undoing Trump's work. Where does Trump owe taxes? You are so full of BS. Why not join the Harris team. You would fit right in. You ever mention the taxes owed by Al Sharpton and all the years he has owed them? I hope the people here see you for what you are. I sure do. -

Recommendations for a Plumber and Handyman in Pattaya
Hi everyone, I’m looking for some recommendations for a reliable plumber and a handyman in Pattaya. I've got a few small repairs and maintenance tasks around the house that need attention, and I'd prefer to go with someone who comes highly recommended. If anyone has had good experiences with professionals in the area, please share their contact details or let me know how I can reach them. Thanks in advance! Your help is much appreciated. Best regards, James E. -

Ford Focus, parts and reliability?
I have owned two Ford Focus in Thailand. Both were very good cars and just as reliable as all the Toyota I have owned. However you must be careful which model you buy. Forget the 1.5 turbo Ecosport because the engine has a bad design. It is called the Ecoboom by traders for a reason. The earlier models have the SportShift gearbox There are two types of SportShift gearboxes, the DCT250 and the DCT450. The DCT250 has a dry clutch and is plagued with problems. The DCT450 has a wet clutch and is reliable but don't miss a gearbox oil change. There was a small batch of Mk1 Focus TDCi imported around 2008 with manual transmission. If I could find a good low mileage example at a sensible price I would buy it. Many parts are available online. I also order parts from MIck's garage in Ireland. Good service and prices. I avoid the main Ford Stealership because of their high prices and long delivery times. -

Don’t kill the golden goose! Tax reforms may drive away expats
I don't know, that's why I asked. I know some people work as freelance or self employed status and pay their own taxes but I don't know if you can do that on a WP - I used to do that in Europe and Asia. So you work, your employer pays your tax directly to the TRD and then what, you file a tax return at the end of the year to settle up? I guess in that scenario the TRD doesn't care if you leave or not, they probably even hope that you do so they don't have to deal with your tax return. The check and balance in that set up is the employer is on the hook to deduct and pay the tax so that's the guarantee. You were made redundant and nothing was said about settling taxes because your employer had already done that.....I wonder if you filed a tax return that year to reclaim tax paid?
