Not much of a business background, although I do have an accounting qualification.

 

I can accept someone going bankrupt, and rebuilding. Doing it 7 times with a slew of business failures is a bridge too far.

 

Personally, I have no experience of being bankrupt. The last time I owed anyone money was 50 years ago, even then I had ample collateral.

 

I don't even have a credit rating. Impossible to rate someone who does not use credit. What do you think Trump's is?

 

I am not a deadbeat debtor like Trump. I pay my bills as soon as I get them. It means I don't have them on my mind from then on.

There is not a single US bank that will lend Donald Trump money. If he is the billionaire he says he is, they should be falling over themselves. He owes Deutsche Bank $300 million.

 

When the $450 million NY judgment was appealed, he did not have the cash for the bond. When it was reduced to $150 million, he still could not raise the money. The lawyers are still arguing, over whether the security advanced from a dodgy California entity, with less NTA than the bond amount, is valid.

 

This from a guy who claims to be worth $5-6 billion?  I don't have to be at the top of the accounting profession to realize something stinks to high heaven, and it's not fish.
