A 30-year-old woman gave birth to her fourth child inside a rescue vehicle while being rushed to Samut Sakhon Hospital, causing a stir among onlookers eager to glimpse the vehicle's license plate for potential lottery numbers.

On August 30, volunteers from the Bang Khun Thian Civil Defense Volunteers (AOPP) in Bangkok received an urgent call regarding a woman in labor at a residence near the Phra Pradaeng expressway. The volunteers immediately dispatched a team to the scene to assist and transport the woman to Samut Sakhon Hospital.

Upon arrival, they found Ms. Sirikhwan, 30, in severe pain with amniotic fluid visibly leaking. Recognising the urgency, the volunteers quickly placed her in the rescue vehicle and set off towards the hospital.

However, as the vehicle reached Bang Bon Mall on Kanchanaphisek Road, Bangkok, the woman gave birth inside the vehicle. The team immediately stopped the vehicle to provide first aid and contacted the Erawan Medical Centre for support.

Mr. Charoen Phutthaya, a Bang Khun Thian AOPP volunteer with code 369, recounted the event, stating, "I received the call around 09:00, about a woman in labor. Upon arriving at the scene, I found the patient in her 30s experiencing intense pain and fluid leakage. We immediately headed towards Samut Sakhon Hospital, but the baby was born before we could get there. We stopped the vehicle and provided first aid while notifying the Erawan system for further assistance. The baby girl was born healthy. The mother mentioned that the due date was supposed to be September 17, so the baby was born at eight months."

Following the birth, Erawan personnel transferred the mother and newborn to Samut Sakhon Hospital for further care. Notably, the license plate of the rescue vehicle in which the baby was born reads "2005," and the volunteer’s code is 369, numbers that many are now eyeing for the upcoming lottery draw.
