Once upon a time, the forum software did allow mods to ban themselves (no names of course), at which point one had to beg other mods to let you back in.

 

That bug has now been fixed although I'm not going to test if it really is sorted

Change your AN login password right now to a bunch of random letters and numbers and then do not note it down to ensure that you live up to your promise.
