You are consumed with <removed>, You go on about division - I remember Biden saying that his priority was to unite the country when he got in and look what happened after that?

The history which matters most now is his previous term as President, which was fair overall, right up until the election. I still see him being a better option for the USA than Harris.

But don't worry, I don't get a vote.

You have a bad memory or very poor understanding of America politics and what actually occurred if you think Trump fair. He was no where near fair. He was a loose cannon with everyone around him babysitting him to stop his many attempts at f'n up the relationships with other nations and the internal working of most govt agency by firing key people and replacing them with worthless donors. You wouldn't know about any of that since you didn't live in the USA and see his real actions. What happened in the country was a result of Trump and a follow on reaction not something Biden did. Educate your with facts not propaganda from the far right.

Millions of voters and hundreds of millions around the world are finally figuring out who he is, and why they don't want to have anything to do with him.

He makes Nixon look trustworthy and George W. look smart and articulate. In fact, if Frankenstein decided to make a monster assembled entirely from human flaws - he would make a Trump. And a remorseful Doctor Frankenstein would clutch out big clumpfuls of hair and scream in anguish: 'My God… what… have… I… created?

Unappealing, unattractive, idiotic, incompetent, hateful, hurtful, abrasive, rude, blowhard, liar, cheater, thief, infantile, failure, loser, fraud, sexual abuser, incestuous, tax cheat, insurrectionist, un-American, dictator-loving dictator wannabe, out of control, sociopathic, convicted felon, toxic narcissist & brutish A-hole.

Everything about the con-man referred to as Trump is unlikeable. He's everything wrong with the human animal, all stuffed into one specimen.

Almost everybody knew that Trump is bad. Including lots of GOP candidates. Just listen to what they said in the GOP primaries in 2016.

It seems to me that Trump is popular with many people because he uses clearer and easier language which the masses understand. And he is right to criticize many of the established politicians and the swamp.

The problem is of course that even if A is bad, that doesn't mean B is better.

There are bad politicians and there are some who are even worse. Trump is certainly one of them.

But many voters hate "the establishment" so much that they don't comprehend that Trump is even worse than what he pretends to fight.

Trump is a narcistic maniac. In most countries people are smart enough not to vote for people like him. In the USA that is obviously not the case.

But to be fair, the alternative is not something to vote for. She and the DEMs are only the lessor evil.

The American political system is f#$#$%. Lots of people who want power, and more power.

Government for the people and by the people is a joke by now.

And somehow it doesn't look that that will be better anytime soon.

God bless America - they really need that.

Trump is so popular for the same reason the AfD is popular in Germany. People hate the established politicians. Trump is a living two fingers up in the face of Biden, Harris,  Pelosi, etc....this is why nothing he does matters and doesn't dent his popularity. People want to stick it up the established politicians. Just as with the AfD.

By fair I mean average (performance).

To get a national perspective, I don't think you have to be there. The USA is a very big place.

What happened in the country that was Trump's fault?

There seems to be far more propaganda from the left than the right.

Yes. But there is one big difference.

In Germany many people vote for the AfD to protest but it is unlikely that the AfD will be in power. The AfD works in the way that the mainstream politicians look at why people vote for the AfD and they have to adjust their politics to win voters back.

In the USA people vote to protest. But with that they don't just send a message to the established parties to change. The change is radical. Because the hero of the protest has no idea how to govern a country. Unfortunately, too many protest voters don't see that or don't care.

The sad thing is that that there are just two bad options.

Yes, so we see the SPD and CDU adopting anti immigration policies the way the AfD electorate want. Clientele politics Even if the AfD don't come to power their presence has political effects. The change of the CDU and SPD to what they are today is pretty radical.

But yes, the established parties can hobble the AfD much like the Democrats have tried to neutralize Trump with legal proceedings. The same happened to the AfD. Trump is more impervious to this due to his billions, it would be as if one of the ALDI brothers had entered politics.

Comparing the business acumen of Trump with any one of the Aldi brothers is like comparing a puddle of lukewarm vomit to a Rembrant painting.
Besides, Donald doesn't have billions.

I realise you're on some kind of Democrat fantasy trip, but Trump 's net worth is estimated at 3.8 billion USD, which is comparable to one of the  surviving Aldi heirs.

Estimated by who?
And to compare Trump, who was born with a silvespoon in his mouth (in addition to some rather convenient bone spurs), to someone who started with two empty hands and built an empire? Seriously??

By Forbes. What Karl Albrecht Jr was not born with a sliver spoon in his mouth? Come on...

Spidermike already listed a number of things as I have also on this thread. You can also search the internet as his action are no secret. To get a proper perspective you do need to be there because if your not your just getting feed media stories created for click bait versus real news.

I can imagine what your sources of 'real news' are.

That's enough for today.

I am of course talking about the two brothers that started Aldi. Could you be any lamer when you're owned?

They are both dead, so you'd have to look at one of the heirs.

It was you who brought them up, remember?

Yes, but looking at it they both died, so one of the heirs would have been a better comparison.

Their heirs have (like their fathers before them) all done infinitely better than Trump.
