LTR Visa is Now available for Long Term Residency
While I see your point, it is not unreasonably for them to give the answer that currently there is no blanket exception for unremitted income SHOULD ww income taxation come into place. In lots of jurisdictions you get a gurantee or contract that income is tax exempted or taxed at 10% etc no matter what. It is up to BOI to talk to TRD and find out what is what. Apparently they cannot do that or they already know the answer because it is negative. Either way the issue is open and no one should count on the RD to exempt unremitted income in case of an LTR visa that is all I am saying. -

Activist Mike Rayong leaves Thailand, citing safety and freedom
And the reality is that even foreigners (me 35 years and a PR) don't really fully understand the system, the inuendo, the law, the politics etc. My Thai adult son (40 yo, wife, 4 kids) speaks reads / writes fluent Thai and English and has strong capability with the essan language. He follows these subjects daily and tells me often there's things happening which horrify him but he doesn't speak out because he has a very good income from his professional career and puts a lot of time and effort into getting his 4 kids well educated and well provided for. How anybody approaches such situations is ultimately personal choice and their choice should be respected. -

5 year multiple entry DTV visa (Destination Thailand) from 2024-xx-xx
Sure but a special type of tourist visa isn't an option 🙂 Seems embassies are categorizing at a non-immigration. -

Visa exempt / married to a thai national
You will have no problems with the Visa exempt. If you were to use it multiple times in a short period, then they will question why you are not obtaining the marriage extension. -

5 year multiple entry DTV visa (Destination Thailand) from 2024-xx-xx
They are and I know it is a DTV that I will be applying for next week. The Savannaket appointment form listed Non-immigration or Tourist. No problem i went with non-immigration and it should be OK. -

Brawl on Bangla Road, Transgender Woman Assaults Tourist
I was on a flight once from Dubai to the UK, and the Indian "gentleman"/patriarch sitting next to me (he was with an Indian family) - dressed in an old suit (no shirt) and flip flops stunk to high heaven! That was the first and only time time I have actually had reason to ask a stewardess to either move me to another seat or to move the offending passenger. In the end, she actually moved him to another seat somewhere but I feel sorry for the people sitting next to him for 6 hours! -

Visa exempt / married to a thai national
Hi all / swaadee kup. I plan on visiting thailand with my wife after about 3 years of not visiting. We plan on going for a 3 week holiday for tourism purposes only as shes feeling abit homesick and i also miss the place badly. I want to enter on a visa exempt as the trip is for 3 weeks and i will get a 60day entry using this method. Would i require a NON O visa as im married to a thai for my visit or will i be allowed in as visa exempt as we are only going for 3 weeks? I have a UK passport and my wifes is thai. I have had NON O visas in the past, and also visa exempt for shorter stays without any issues, but with all the rule changes that thai immigration make, i just wanted to makesure i dont get any nasty shocks at swampy. Thanks -

Guys, they almost got away with memory-holing this!
Ok, that's it, I'm convinced. There is no way I'm going to vote for Willy Brown in November.- 1

Thai Wife Issues in the UK
actually the 'child' is the OP, if it's genuine, which i doubt, he needs to grow up. if he's a troll, he needs to grow up and get a life. -
