A famous Thai social media influencer and YouTuber exposed the harassing behaviour of a female fan who demanded 150,000 baht from her to pay off a debt. After the revelation, the fan threatened to sue the influencer for violating personal information laws.

The influencer, 30 year old Varaporn “Bew” Piyanantasomdee, took to her social media accounts to reveal that the female fan attempted to enter her home without permission on September 9 to borrow 150,000 baht, despite the two never having met in person.

According to Bew, the woman attempted to enter her home to meet her, but Bew’s husband, Tanin Sritawatpongsa, stopped her. The woman then claimed that she had an appointment with Bew and that she was there to attend her child’s gender reveal party.

While Bew was indeed hosting the party, she did not invite the woman and did not communicate with her either online or in person.

Consequently, Tanin did not allow her to enter, which led the woman to call Bew and accuse her of lacking kindness and humanity. Bew eventually had to call the police to remove the woman from the scene.

Bew explained that this woman initially contacted her through a social media account managed by her manager. The woman emphasised that she was a big fan of Bew, watched her videos daily, and then asked for financial help.

She then sent photos of her wrists, which appeared to be self-inflicted cuts, implying that she was distressed and harmed herself.

She further explained that she borrowed 130,000 baht from loan sharks to pay for car repairs and now owed 150,000 baht in total, including 20,000 baht in interest. Having lost her job and finding no other solution, the woman hoped Bew would assist her.

Bew stated that neither she nor her manager responded to the woman’s messages, which led to the woman showing up at her home.

After Bew shared the story with the public, the woman and her boyfriend contacted Bew. They threatened to sue her for violating the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) by revealing her story and contact information on social media.

Bew deleted the videos about the incident, along with other related content. However, all the evidence is still circulated on social media. Bew has not yet provided an update on the legal situation.

Great idea!

I watched all James Bond movies. I guess I should go and see him and ask for money. Does anybody know his address? 😉

It´s different as many actors have played that role. 😉

Bloggers, love em or hate them, they are as plentiful as soi dogs in pattaya, all trying to make a buck without really acknowledging the legal ramifications.

Can I borrow....

If she is broke how she imagine to sue someone? Suing and hiring lawyer is 50k so they can even look at your case and then more costs to follow 😁

These "Gender Reveal" party's certainly attract the strangest people!

The woman needs to sue. She can probably get a lot more now that there is a video being released and then withdrawn with her in it. These social media people make money off of you watching the videos they post. They do not care about anything except the money they get from the ads run during the videos they post. Thailand has a law about this so the woman should go to the courts and sue. I am sure she can get a lot more than 150k if she wins.

For what?

Performing in front of a YouTuber holding a camera and then being surprised that that is published?

I am also no fan of many YouTubers. But I don't go and visit them and see them with their camera(s) and then to stupid things.

She sounds like a real nutter.   Call the hospital and have her locked up.  She needs medicine.

I want money from the real James Bond, 007, not one of those actors!

I deserve it, I am a real fan, I read all the books and saw all the videos. 😉
