Donald Trump Suffers Major Blow in Top Election Forecast
Former President Donald Trump dropped below a 40 percent chance of an election victory for the first time on Tuesday, according to a forecast by a major polling aggregator. FiveThirtyEight's election forecast gave the Republican candidate a 39 percent chance of winning the Electoral College, after a slate of strong polling for Vice President Kamala Harris boosted her odds to greater than 60 percent. Previously, Trump had been performing close to the margin of error between the two candidates. When the model first relaunched following the replacement of President Joe Biden, it gave Trump a 41 percent chance of winning, which was rising steadily before the ABC debate on September 10. I Love Donald Trump
Yes he can - by fixing what is the main cause of inflation. As someone that studied Economics I can say that the current high interest rates after Covid was and is totally wrong. There are two types of inflation - demand lead and supply lead. Demand lead inflation can be fixed by high interest rates - to dampen demand. But after Covid the inflation was supply lead - the costs of production (especially transportation) was the cause of inflation - it was not demand increasing post Covid - it was costs of production being too high. Yes there was an increase in consumer demand, but it was only from such a low level because of the Covid restrictions. Then on top of that all the climate control policies have made oil and thus both power and transportation costs increase - causing more inflation. They used the only thing they know - interest rates - to try and dampen inflation. They were and still are wrong - they are causing inflation by increasing the costs of production. Trump knows this - he is going tpo open up oil and remove the climate policies - that will lower costs of production - and he will push to lower the USD at the same time - those two things together will lower the supply side lead inflation. -

The principle you’re referring to is known as psychological reactance. This concept suggests that when people perceive their freedom to choose is being restricted, they are likely to resist and do the opposite of what is being advocated. The more you argue or push someone to change their mind, the more they might dig in their heels and resist. This principle is widely recognized in psychology and is used to explain why people sometimes react negatively to persuasion attempts. It can be seen in various contexts, such as in marketing, negotiations, and personal relationships. -

EXPAT TAXATION - Does anyone really know what's going on?
Where can you hide from world wide taxation? They keep casting a bigger and tighter net. I can only speak for the Australian DTA, and there is no exemption for the aged pension in it. I have posted Article 18 and Article 19 that sets this out, as well as a youtube clip with comments from an Australian Chartered Accountant. The Australian pension is over the threshold. In the Australia Forum it's been discussed an Aussie pensioner will have around a 20,000 baht tax liability. Whilst 20,000 baht isn't a lot, a little out of a little can be a lot for some pensioners. What will you get for paying the tax, nothing, more than you get now, which is ZERO. -

Meta Bans RT & Other Russian State Media for Foreign Interference
Its more about the right to watch it and also the importance of hearing views from all sides and then making up your own mind. as you say there are biases from every source so listening to as many sources as you can is always better than only listening to one.
