The apparent assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump at his South Florida golf course on Sunday ignited longstanding concerns among security experts that Trump’s regular golf habit might make him vulnerable to assailants.

Nearly every president in recent history has played golf, but the frequency and predictability of Trump’s outings have raised worries for years. Journalists and other bystanders have enjoyed unobstructed views of the former president from locations outside of the perimeter of his private country clubs — and unsecured by the Secret Service.

Left wing lunatics driving conspiracy theories that Trump (campaign) was behind it - just like the last one. Pure insanity or propaganda / deflection

The way the first assassination caper occurred it's clear Trump could have no involvement. The bullet was simply too close. If he didn't move his head it would be looking more like a squashed melon.

The second attempt a few days ago again this smells very Oswaldian. The man had been sitting in the bushings for something like 12hrs. Question seriously rise about how he (possibly) knew of Trump's golf outing.

Shooter has already been placed with sketchy types in the Ukraine working as some shadowy recruiter. Edward Snowden pointed to this directly and said it smelled like Oswald.

It's pretty clear the blob in the swamp once this man unalived. I'm impressed with his sheer tenacity. He didn't make a billion dollars sitting on his ass and giving up.

----

I think this is going to be a very slow thread for the leftist screetchers on AN. Pretty clear that they are an extremely immature lot that always seek to settle things with violence. Whether it's these assassination attempts or all that black lives matter bullshi*

I keep this thread alive with clear evidence of this shadowy character.

The left is actually accusing Trump and the Trump campaign of instigating this nonsense due to perceived bump in polls / vote. Absolutely laughable. I wonder that in and of itself is subterfuge

As usual, this guy's history is not so straightforward as the NY Post would have us believe:

Public records show shifting political views for Trump assassination plot suspect

Social media users are variously claiming the man accused of plotting to assassinate Donald Trump at his golf club is registered as a Republican or Democratic voter, attempting to pin the attempted violence on one side or the other. But North Carolina state voting records list Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, as unaffiliated, and other public filings and his chaotic writings online reveal a complicated political history.

...

Routh's social media posts show a range of shifting opinions about US politicians. He wrote in 2020 that he supported Trump in 2016 but later regretted doing so, adding: "I will be glad when you are gone." [emphasis added]

...

Routh's son Oran told the Daily Mail that his father hates Trump as "every reasonable person does."

I find hard to believe that someone who can function at a level where they can type......that they can still go on to type such utter dross.

It is the garbage 12 year olds deal in in the playground before they eventually grow up.

I'm pretty confident he was a disturbed republican......the FBI knew about his intentions and cleverly put the Harris/Walz bumper sticker on his car to try to point the finger at the Dems.......you heard it hear first.

Well the report is that he (the perp)  was at his hiding site for about 12 hours so he obviously didn't know Trump's tee time

So this guy wanted to fight for Ukraine, then sits in the bushes for 12 hours, foolishly shows his rifle, gets shot at, runs away and is made a prisoner.

Ukraine really missed out on a top recruit here.

Trump collective is desperate. People say that the  evidence that this wasn''t an inside job or false flag event has not been  firmed up. maybe it was a conspiracy to get sympathy for Trump since he was never in danger and sent out a fund raising plea  shortly after the event.

Who was paying for this guy's travel and general living expenses? We'll know soon enough because the FBI is on the case. 5555555555555

I will say that what is looking to be a plausible -- but not only -- explanation is that this guy was totally whacked-out on Ukraine and he feared Trump would curtail or cutoff support to Ukraine if elected.

Seems like with all the assassination attempts that the left is desperate. No one is trying to kill corrupt kamala
