I Love Donald Trump

I have never met the man but that does not stop me from going to social media to say he is great.

The man is flawed but his message and values and policies are great for USA and the World.

He is essentially 'anti-woke' and 'anti-globalist' and 'anti-progressive liberal' and 'anti-radical minority groups' who are tearing down western values and morals.

Plus he is going to 'drain the swamp' when he is elected POTUS - he was distracted and fooled last time - but this time he will hit the ground running and take them down.

Trying to get the alligators to voluntarily leave the swamp was foolish - the only solution is to drain the swamp and then permanently remove them.

He is going to make Javier Milei (Argentina) look like a librarian - Trump is going to tear it all down so that they can never again re-buiild it.

Sure - if you are a woke liberal and you support Palestine, Illegal Immigrants and other radical minorities, and you are a globalist (socialist) who loves the UN and EU, and leaders like Macron, Trudea, Starmer, Scholz, and Albanese etc etc, and unelected socialists like Von Der Leyen, António Guterres and Schwab etc etc. -  then you will hate what Trump is going to do.  But I think that the majority are going to see through the media lies and how much a disaster another 4 (or even 8 ) years of Bidenomics would be.

And best of all - he can dodge a bullet - even Reagan could not do that 😁

I don’t know about that.

He claims he is not racist. Which is woke. Claims to have more for black people than anyone else.

He came up with that dodgy vaccine and told everyone to take it.

Refused to attend the Vietnam war.

Claims he has no problem with gay people.

Claims he has done more women than anyone else.

Has contributed donations to the democrats.

Is fat and wears makeup.

Careful what you wish for. You really don't want that. Trump has already proven countless times he's incapable of talking policy without slamming the heel of his foot against the back of his throat. Childcare? Mexico paying for a border wall he never built? Black jobs? His botched efforts are endless. Let sleeping dogs lie if you really are that obsessed with Trump and don't want to embarrass him further.

But that is exactly what Biden did when he was POTUS and Trump did no. Have you not seen all the DEI appointees of Biden - all radical lefties with blind loyalty to their fascist leaders in The Dem Party.   It was indeed a Maoist/Stalin style cultural revolution - and it has all gone terribly terribly wrong.

I did not ask you to tell me all about Kamala Harris - that is who you are talking about right??

What about Trump's policies mate - stop with the personal insults about what he did or didnt do 30-40 years ago.

Give me a list of Harris' policies and lets debate them - facts not feelings mate.

Who needs policies when the man she's running against has none of his own and flip-flops on rhetoric more often than he changes his own adult diapers. Policies are so last generation. Just ask Trump.

More lies - to hide the truth - Harris has no policies and she never will - she only echoes what Trump has already stated. Such as no tax on tips (when she introduced that tax), and close the border (when she said it was all OK).

Harris introduced tax on tips?

I recall that's been in effect all my life.

Just watch the next 4 years. She will create more new jobs, build more new homes, create more new business startups, reduce inequality, reduce inflation, and reduce hate and divisions in the country to levels that Trump could have never envisioned or ever even thunked of.

9 End the weaponization of government against the American people

10 Stop the migrant crime epidemic, demolish the foreign drug cartels, crush gang violence, and lock up violent offenders

11 Rebuild our cities, including Washington DC, making them safe, clean, and beautiful again.

12 Strengthen and modernize our military, making it, without question, the strongest and most powerful in the world

13 Keep the U.S. dollar as the world's reserve currency

14 Fight for and protect social security and Medicare with no cuts, including no changes to the retirement age

15 Cancel the electric vehicle mandate and cut costly and burdensome regulations

16 Cut federal funding for any school pushing critical race theory, radical gender ideology, and other inappropriate racial, sexual, or political content on our children

17 Keep men out of women's sports

18 Deport pro-Hamas radicals and make our college campuses safe and patriotic again

19 Secure our elections, including same day voting, voter identification, paper ballots, and proof of citizenship

20 Unite our country by bringing it to new and record levels of success

I don't know how anybody can "love" Donald Trump or Kamala Harris as presidential candidates. Look, there is no denying that Trump (and Harris, too) is a stupid person. The difference between the two is that Trump while stupid is on the other hand quite cunning. He's also an uncontrolled narcissist who simply cannot control his emotions. The Taylor Swift controversy is a perfect example of someone not knowing when to shut up and keep quiet. He does do interviews better than Harris and Walz--it might be impossible to find people who do them worse. But for every well played PR move, there  is an equally idiotic catastrophe--such as allowing a loon like Laura Loomer on your campaign plane. He's inconsistent and prone to make celebrity news splashing goofs, such as with North Korea in his first term. He ultimately doesn't believe in anything but himself.  The trouble is that Harris and Walz may be worse. And with them it's because of what they believe, which they seem desperately trying to hide.

You can't do that if you devalue the dollar and drive up the price of imports while simultaneously imposing tariffs. It's recipe for inflation. And dollar devaluation is one of Trump's stated policies.

They don't.

He's so stupid that he calls them a tax on foreign nations.

They are paid for by American consumers.

They can be useful if you want to limit targeted imports, but they don't raise any money for the US government

Do you have a degree in hyperbole from the felon's university?

Have you ever actually studied Marxism and Stalinism, or are they just the only derogatory epithets you know? Zero about what Biden has done even remotely approaches either of those ideologies. Under Biden the US experienced its highest growth since the late 1990s under Bill Clinton.

Apparently recovery from the Recession left behind by the felon and the high 6.8% UE he left behind make you uncomfortable, as do manufacturing jobs, new chips plants and an actual Infrastructure Bill that is, as we speak, repairing the US' bridges, roads, airports, electric grid, etc.

I'm sure the other guy has 'a concept of a plan' (9 years and counting on his Obamacare replacement) on just about everything, and "shortly, maybe in two weeks" he will be releasing it.

This graph was produced by the Bureau of Economic Analysis, a USG entity, that suggests maybe your messiah engaged in a bit of hyperbole when he used to lie about 'best economy ever'. The BEA graph suggests he presided over the worst economic performance since Herbert Hoover. But hey, as George Costanza says, "It's not a lie if YOU believe it".

Reagan introduced the tax on mandatory tips - those that are included in the bill - not the voluntary tips given as cash and not in the bill.  Biden/Harris introduced the 'Inflation Reduction Act' (that worked great eh?) which forced business to tax all tips and make an estimate on those which were not 'reported'.  Harris as VP cast the 'winning vote' when it got to the Senate.

So-Called Inflation Reduction Act’s Bait-and-Switch: IRS to Crack Down on Waitresses’ Underreported Tips | The Heritage Foundation

However, in Harris' defence she had no idea what was in the Act - she does not have the brains to be able to u8nderstand things like that. We all know what she is very good at - and it does not involve using the part of her body called the brain.

Given what we saw at the debate, if Harris' isn't very good at using her brain, that means Trump has pretty much given up on using his.

They are paid for by the importer and likely passed on to consumers. They do raise money for the US government. As you say though I can understand specific tariffs where an imported product receives unfair govt support from their country - so they can sell below a reasonable cost - but such a broad based tariff seems odd and likely lead to significant inflation.

Did you actually read the article? It does not contend that there is anything in the bill that requires businesses to change the way tips are reported.
