A truck driver lost control and overturned into the Jang River in Ban Pa Tan, Mae Tha District, Lampang Province, resulting in his death. The  body was trapped inside the vehicle.

At approximately 20:35, on September 18, emergency responders from the Luecha Phayao Foundation received a report of the incident. A large truck had veered off the road, flipped onto its side, and plunged into the river. The driver, a 56-year-old Thai man, was found trapped beneath the wreckage.

Rescue teams, including divers from the Natee Lampang unit, were dispatched to the scene. Using hydraulic cutters, they worked to free the driver's body from the wreckage. By 22:00 rescuers and divers confirmed that his body was retrieved from the wreckage and sent for an autopsy.

Police from Mae Tha Police Station are investigating the cause of the incident.

One might wonder what the reason for this accident is? Sleeping, driving to quick, break failure and so on......  One thing we definitely know, is that it can´t be the drivers fault. Maybe the more modern excuse, like the GPS told me........
