Daikin - the worst garbage aircon

No one.

Standard rate for many private developments here is 7 - 8 baht. Plus VAT, plus FT - somewhere between 9 - 10 baht a unit depending on the FT.

PEA will not supply inside most private developments as the cables are all installed underground.

Higher maintenance fees.

The highest price that I know of was a nearby development that was charging 29 baht per unit.

Now THAT was a rip off.

Do you not think that paying Bht 10 per unit to your landlord who is paying PEA Bht 4 per unit is not getting ripped off?

  • We have installed well over 100 air conditioning units, the Daikin ones are the worst we’ve installed in the last 10 years. The covers go brown, the vane cover changes color at a different rate, they

  • They will all leak if the condensation drainage tube is badly installed or becomes blocked with something insects or more likely a strange goey slime like mucous that likes to grow there..have the air

  • Well I have a completely opposite story. With our properties we have over 50 aircons, 80% being Daikin. And other than a shorted electronic board in one unit (lizard) which was still under warranty I

No, there was nothing wrong with it, i thought I'd just try a self clean

Open the front cover of the indoor unit, remove the filters and you will see ice on the evaporator during self-clean.

It takes 20 - 25' on my Haier Inverter. Not much information on the internet... I do the self-clean once a month and clean the filters 3 times/month. Planning to call the guy every 6 months for complete cleaning.

I do not have a landlord.

Commercial rates are higher than domestic rates depending upon a number of factors.

The PEA do not provide electricity to my property.

You seem to be trying to compare apples with durians.

Nowhere on this tariff can I see anything approaching Bht 10 per unit.

It's probable my TCL model doesn't do self clean, it's (optional) in the instruction manual

Guys, the maestro seem to have fixed the leak, but as soon as he left now one of the aircons is not cooling. I checked outside and the compressor is not spinning the fan. It was working fine while it was LEAKING.

Wtf I really hate this second rate country.
