PETA criticized the zoo for keeping Moo Deng in captivity, advocating for her relocation to a wildlife sanctuary. However, TSPCA countered that PETA's information was outdated and incomplete, emphasising that the zoo adheres to international care standards. While some Thais expressed support for the zoo, TSPCA called for respectful dialogue and reassured that Moo Deng's care meets global standards.
