Definitely not on her own since  weed has been sold more freely and available on every street corner in Thailand.

It always amuses me that this British woman has been indentified as Scottish. 

If the woman was English then I am quite sure the woman would be described as British.

She became paranoid, fearing that someone was out to harm her, and isolated herself in her room. Concerned for her safety, her friend alerted hotel staff, who then contacted the police for help.

 

As officers attempted to escort Ms. Henderson to a police vehicle, she became increasingly agitated, fearing she would be harmed. She resisted their efforts, sticking her tongue out and making faces at the police and passersby. Police eventually managed to take her to a medical facility for treatment. It is suspected that her erratic behaviour was triggered by a combination of her pre-existing medical condition and an excessive amount of cannabis.

 

Police are continuing to investigate the incident and ensure the well-being of the tourist.

The scottish travel on a British Passport but seem to in most cases considered Scottish.

The weed nowadays is super strong..even I have to take a nap after a couple hits..before the weed was 4 to 5 joints a day...with little buzz..was like .5, 1 or 2 % max......now it's  14, 15...etc.

Like anything else in this world, even too much of a good thing isn't good. 
 

Great for people who use it in moderation, reap the benefits, and know their tolerance level and establish a limit. But bad when people abuse it.

some friend she has there. She begins to act a little weird high in either pills or the weed and he calls the police? Time to let this friend go on alone. At least the report did not say anything about charges or arrest. But am most certain before this affair is over there will be some money handed to them.
