This is the opinion of one guy who hasn't even met Trump. Compare that to the large number of people who have worked closely with him and now denounce him and your lone guy is like the proverbial fart in a (non-man made) hurricane - insignificant.

Trump also wanted to court-martial Stanley McChrystal and William McRaven (the man who got Osama bin Laden) just because they criticized him. Milley now fears if Trump is elected he will be court-martialed "for disloyalty." How much warning do we need before we listen? Well that's certainly a matter of opinion which would not be shared by the thousands who died of Covid through the conspiratorial nonsense Trump kept coming up with or even the fiancial hawks who saw $8 trillion added to the national debt ($4 trillion through tax cuts) or the US allies who saw him constantly undermine NATO whilst chumming up to dictators or the intelligence services who also saw him undermine them at any available chance or simply those who expected a better medical insurance deal than Obamacare which simply didn't materialise after years of promises (still hasn't come up with one).

The rest (well over 150 in the GOP) are compromised in some way -- mostly bribery or cowardice or both -- and they ignore their voters. They will face retribution at some point along the way and lose their seats -- either by being voted out or stepping away as Romney and others have done.

The realistic view of the corrupt GOP is that no GOP candidate can win without America First Voter support. Those voters are deciding the future of GOPe Mush RATs and Do-Nothing RepubliCANTs in the House and Senate every election cycle.  Those GOPe Mush RATs and Do-Nothing RepubliCANTs have considerable support within the party because they control the GOP House and Senate today -- but it won't last.  The GOP Establishment is on life support, and they will not win elections without America First Voters.
