The Chiang Mai Night Safari has introduced the world to its latest attraction: Ava, a strikingly beautiful golden Bengal tiger. Photos of Ava posing gracefully were shared on the safari's official Facebook page, quickly capturing the hearts of netizens around Thailand and across the globe, turning this three-year-old feline into the latest sensation in unusual wildlife attractions. The post, introducing the alluring Ava as the sister of Luna, another popular tiger at the safari, became an instant hit. Garnering as many as 31,000 'likes', 2,700 comments, and 25,000 shares as of Thursday, Ava's social media debut paints a vivid picture of her rising popularity. Netizens from all around couldn't resist her charm, showering her with compliments for her majestic presence and captivating eyes. Some even commented that Ava's captivating charm made her seem too adorable to be a wild predator. Chiang Mai Night Safari further fuelled interest by explaining that Ava's unique coat - a golden take on the Bengal tiger's typical orange-black palette - is due to a rare recessive gene. This mutation is rare, occurring only in 50 to 100 tigers worldwide, thereby adding further intrigue to Ava's distinctive appeal. Ava is not the first member of her family to create buzz online. Luna, her sister, had previously seen her own images spread across social media like wildfire. The Chiang Mai Night Safari offers a spectacular opportunity for wild-life enthusiasts eager to see Ava and Luna up close. LTR Visa is Now available for Long Term Residency
Probably not going to fly because Nov-Dec of previous year thru Jan-Feb of the following year is only 4 months max of financial data; not the required 12 months of data. Proof of income doesn't have to cover the calendar year period of Jan-Dec....it can be any 12 month period like say Oct 2023 thru Sep 2024, etc., but you'll need the financial docs to prove it like for those Jan-Sep months since you will not have an income tax return for those 9 months. This may require you to provide more than 12 months worth of proof like maybe your previous year income tax return "and" part of the current calendar year you are currently in thru the use of bank/brokerage statements, pension statement, etc. Can keep in mind the "type" of LTR visa you are applying for will determine the "type" of income BOI will accept. For example when going for a LTR "Pensioner" visa BOI is looking for unearned/passive income; not income from wages/employment. -

Having no income in Thailand is a red herring, and your friend doesn't get to decide his tax residency. Staying in Thailand for 180 days or more in a tax year makes him a tax resident. Whether he needs a TIN, and file tax returns, will depend on the income he remits to Thailand during any years that he is a tax resident of Thailand.
