A vote for Trump is a vote for Putin / Orban / Kim Jong Un

Trump will at least TRY to stay in power by changing the rules. The way he changes the rules would be, of course, illegal, but he might do something like declare that the election process in the USA was corrupt and declare a national emergency, which would give him, as president, emergency powers, one of which, he could claim, was to postpone the elections. The only glimmer of hope we would have then is that Trump would be in his mid-80s by then, overweight, etc., so he should not have a long time left.

I agree with your list of corrupt institutions, but I strongly believe everything would just be worse if Trump were reelected. He would just work to increase the corruption for his own interests.

you have an overly active imagination with a hint of paranoia if you think Trump will change the rules to stay in power, if anything it's the Democrats that want to turn the place into a 1 party country, to keep their corruption going.

they want to flood the place with immigrants and offer them all fast track citizenship and pander to them on the expectation that a large percentage will show gratitude and vote blue everytime!

As i see it Trump wants to thin out the bloated congress and all those that are bleeding the system, thats why he wants Musk to clean house, the same needs to be done in the UK, Brussels as most western governments are over full of self serving bureaucratic BS.

He made bad choices the first time with Bolton, pompeo, etc. but has admitted he was naive.

Your posts dont read like youre 78. If i understand as little as you about the world when im 78 then i would be doing the best i could to keep my opinions to myself

I am 78. I'll be 79 (I hope) in Jan 2025.

What is it about my posts that make you think I know little about the world? I can assure you I am well-traveled and well-read. I think it is important to express opinions, especially mine. I've done so in the nine books I have authored and published. W. D. Smart (books2read.com)

Really I'm quite impressed that you do  and that you are fluent in Russian

bravo  👍  🙏

We get several versions of the RT channels on our TV service AIS Play. Many are in English.

I sometimes watch for a while, and sometimes pick up items I was unaware of and I don't disagree. And  sometimes shocked at the attitudes on display.

Yes, I had to look it up.

And a book called the Torah is still being published in Israel, claiming that the land now in question was the "promised land" given to them by a delusion they call "God" (or Yahweh).

I haven't heard of any assassination attempts on Harris, but that doesn't mean there haven't been any. I hope there hasn't been any and won't be any in the future.

I am from the USA and am still a citizen. In fact, I have already successfully voted in the November elections.

Emphasis added. Another one creeps out of the closet. Scratch a Harris supporter, find a hater.....

I have already voted by absentee ballots (faxed it in). I will not say I voted FOR Harris, but I will say I voted AGAINST Trump. So, yes, I checked the box next to Harris' name.

As a white guy for Harris, not only did I vote today, but I drove my wife's boyfriend to vote too. (he voted for Trump)

Whilst Clinton has expressed frustration with the external factors that influenced the election outcome, she has never  claimed that the election was “stolen” in any legal or procedural sense.

Yet she calls Trump an illegitimate President and claims the election was not "on the level".

"Trump "knows he’s an illegitimate president," Clinton said. "I believe he understands that the many varying tactics they used, from voter suppression and voter purging to hacking to the false stories — he knows that — there were just a bunch of different reasons why the election turned out like it did … I know he knows this wasn’t on the level.""

I primarily watch CNN. I don't consider it a window on reality, but do have faith in their reporting.

I know what investing is. I'm just a socialist and anti-capitalism, so the only investing I would even consider approving is one that is based on some benefit, like services—not just greed.

Taxing other people is greed.

No, my books are in a lot of online bookstores and a few "real" bookstores.

Conversation with former ambassador to the UN and national security advisor Susan Rice about how Trump is the greatest threat to the United States, is a surrender monkey, how a second term would be much more dangerous than his first, history of his relationship with Putin, and other relevant subhects.

Yeah, the hard left hates Trump and they'll say whatever they have to get their puppet elected.

Hey, wasn't Rice (along with HRC) the one telling all the lies about Benghazi?

Sure Jan, too funny.

As an author, how do you feel about Harris being a plagiarist?

Kamala Harris has not been accused of plagiarism in the same way that some other political figures have faced allegations. However, there was one notable incident in 2020 where Harris was accused of borrowing elements of a personal story that resembled one told by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Is that all you have?

Melania Trump was accused of plagiarism in July 2016, during her speech at the Republican National Convention (RNC), where she delivered a speech supporting her husband, Donald Trump, who was the Republican nominee at the time. The accusations arose because parts of her speech very closely resembled a speech given by Michelle Obama at the 2008 Democratic National Convention (DNC).

Plagiarism....the sincerest form of flattery.
