Yes, there's always one numskull to write such harsh statement.

You joined the forum, posting police?

What are you going to do next?........ Deport us!

If he's stupid enough to put money in a 15-year girl's bank when she's hanging around with a 35-year-old male, then he's either daft, or deserves what he gets.

" 35 years old, befriended their daughter. Na frequently took the girl out for dinner, initially once or twice a week, which Narongchai didn’t mind, thinking it was just an adult showing affection"

Serves him right he lost his money, should have taken better care of his 15 year old daughter.

And put all their savings into her account?

Possibly because they owed money which would have been removed from any account in their name. Seems that went back to bite them.

Dating a 15-year old is not paedophilia.

While true, a lot of people really can't stand seeing someone who has a relationship with someone under 18 not being called a paedophile.  As in, they get suspiciously angry about it.  🤔

Instead, they put the money in their daughter’s account, believing she wouldn’t touch it as she was a well-behaved girl who rarely left home or socialised.

Duh.

And now she hangs around a 35 year old man, what coulf go wrong?

It's interesting that it never occurred to him that rarely leaving home or socialising might not be a sign of being a "good girl", or at least that it might make her easy to target and manipulate.

How naïve can you be ?

Shouldn't the police be able to trace the mobile phone to which the daughter's LINE account is attached?

What crime has she committed ? She took money from HER Account.

Absolutely agree, but she, a 15-year old, has gone missing from home and the police should investigate her disappearance if the parent has made the report.

No suggestion whatsoever that your bizarre speculation led to anything biting them, the reason for their decision was stated in the OP.   Debts owed to others are not "removed from any bank accounts" unless it's an overdraft or associated credit card debt.
