Do people learn how to use capital letters in American schools?

Generally Americans of older generation write well, but many people don't capitalise when typing on 'phone keyboard coz too fiddly - maybe that?

I notice with younger people (I assume) that they misspell and don't know for example when to use words that sound the same correctly, e.g. there and their.

And you're displaying yours very adeptly.

I do, and I don't have to change keyboards for apostrophes.

I could have called this topic: Do you want to apply for my ignore list?

And for the record: I like to hear other people opinions - if they have a clue what they are talking about.

Just: "you stupid, I smart" is not good enough.

But then, my expectation about Americans is not very high these days.

“I could have called this topic: Do you want to apply for my ignore list?“

Promise?

Good Riddance

Or, correctly...

"I try to correct most basic spelling and grammar mistakes but, either, get some insults or get deleted".

Indeed, you "should of" corrected your own grammar in that post!

Note the 555. I thought Scousers had a sense of humour.

My use of commas was, I think, correct.

I ignore them, as if that stupid, no sense in having a discussion with them.

I just wish they could understand what they were reading when I post.  Tired of pointed out I didn't state that, or they didn't understand anything, or added so much more meaning to it.  As they usually just repeat what they replied, and tell me, I was wrong :cheesy:

I've given up replying to idiots & trolls  20k posts of mine, and probably 19k+ were wasted on the brain dead :coffee1:

Why take the cowardly way out?

Fight, Fight, Fight!

Just like Trump does.

Those on the left ie Harris, avoid.  Hiding from conferences.  Avoid!

Of course it’s your personal choice but I can who you emulate,

Well said.

There is also the ubiquitous "Hooray for our side!" often distilled down to 1000 words or 50 posts, but still nothing more than  "Hooray for our side!".

Fascism and Socialism/Communism and National Socialism are variations on the same theme.

Anyone care to take me on? No Wikipedia allowed.

No Wiki allowed because it would say you are clueless.

The most glaring example is trying to make Communism and Fascism equivalent. While the practical examples might look similar, it is philosophically diametrically opposed. Stalin coopted communism for his fascist dictatorship that has plagued Russia since.

Using words they do not understand is a malapropist.

I'm a Marxist,

I admire anyone that can marry a Baroness, live off her income, and impregnate both her and her maid. I want to be just like Karl!

Bit Walter Mitty mate

Also, 'being a marxist' (who goes on about *HIS* house, *HIS* solar panels, *HIS* car and so on)

is very different from fantasising aboiut being a marxist leader

(ask eg a cuban or maybe someone from Cambodia who survived)

At best youre a poser - a capitalist LARPing as a 'marxist'.

Not sure if itss virtue signalling or what but it's definitely very weird

In a booming economy, the envy of the rest of the G7, cult members toss out "Socialist" and "Marxist". The fact that such things as the Forbes 400 exists kind of obviates the silly talk of Communism.

Now a guy who says tikitorch marchers chanting "Jews will not replace us" are "very fine people" kind of backs up the racist claims.

A guy who says he will be a dictator on Day 1, and who says he will hold a military tribunal to go after Liz Cheney, kind of backs up fascist claims.

A guy who says he's going to throw SC Jack Smith out of the country kind of backs up the fascist claims, too.

A guy who says he will prosecute Obama, Hillary and Biden (without any charge, just prosecute them) also kind of says fascist.

A guy who says he will yank CBS' license because he didn't like the way they edited a 60 Minutes interview, and who also said ABC should lose its license because they called out his lies (only 2 or at least 11 lies) during the debate, kind of smells like fascist, and certainly is anti-American and anti-Constitutional. Not so ironically, Fox is under no threat of losing its license, even though its lies and defamation cost it $787 million and possibly another $2 billion more.

A guy who wants his generals to be like Hitler's generals, who stated he will go after critics and political opponents, and who---according to his late first wife---kept a book of Hitler's speeches on the nightstand, kind of suggests he has a fondness for the little sign painter...in fact, he added that "Hitler did many good things", and that sort of carries the scent of a Nazi sympathizer.

So perhaps the cult---(walks like a duck, etc.=CULT)---has examples of how Biden-Harris are Marxist or Stalinist or Communist? Does Harris autograph eponymous Bibles made in Commie China, or sell watches and golden sneakers made in Ground Zero of today's Communism?

The guy is a willfully ignorant, childish, vindictive, bloated, make-up wearing moron whose appeal is to losers, the poorly educated, those left behind in the modern technological economy, and those with below average IQs (except for self-serving billionaires hoping for more things like carried interest). He's a civilly-convicted sex offender, a convicted bank fraudster, a convicted insurance fraudster, a convicted charity fraudster, a serial philanderer, pathological liar, classified document thief, and was intimately involved in a fake elector scheme and who called his goobers to DC ("It'll be WILD") and encouraged them to march to the Capitol, when the only order of business was a pro forma certification of an election already certified by 50 States.

He's also a whining little petulant child crybaby, but that doesn't fit in one simple and clear word like fascist.

Do you feel better now u got that off your chest?

If so, please now do Kamala

If I called you a "banker" that would be a malapropism.

Don't judge America by the Americans on this forum.  They are not very representative of the general US population.
