Molar implant in BKK?

Some of my implants were done about 11 years ago. When will those Korean implants start having problems?

The cost I mentioned  was for TWO extractions, implants sinus lift, bone graft.

So, 75k each. Not bad, my apologies although depends on cost of sinus lift and grafting.

It's not necessarily they have issues, rather the rejection or whatever rate is highest with Osteem.

Neodent was purchased by Straumann some years back.

  • I doubt you will consider price reasonable anywhere in Thailand, but you can get it for less than this hospital quoted. Around 75k seems the current norm.   See this thread  https://aseannow

  • The price will also depend on whether or not OP will need a bone graft.  Makes a very big difference.

  • There is a motorcycle taxi stand under the soi zero bridge, they do them there for 15k

Yed, had Sinus lift + Bone graft + implant (top Swiss brand) done for 115k last week at Bumrungrad. Near painless and right in the middle. For the crown I'll see next year.

OP here.

Well, I found a dentist.  Fellow who has his own one-man clinic in Bangkok, and also works at Phaya Thai Hospital.  Clean and modern clinic.  Most important, I found out he's done implants for members of my wife's family.  They like him very much as a person and like the work he's done.

40K for Osstem implant (Korea) and 65K for Straumann (Switzerland).  What exactly is the difference between these two to justify the significant difference in price?  How exactly is the Straumann superior?  Or is it just that the Swiss product is assumed to be superior?
