The Spurs Cup Thread

Featured Replies

We're winning one this season....Ange has confirmed it.

Which one shall it be?

I doubt it very much, but we'll see. Stranger things have happened.

Vicario is a good shot stopper, but defending corners ... don't think I've seen worse.

As Spurs are already deep into the EFL cup I'd certainly take that one although they will probably have to play Arsenal or Liverpool to lift it. I'd hate to lose to Arsenal in the semis or final. Small matter of getting past Man utd first......

Be nice to win the Europa League. I think that gives you automatic entry into the champions league?

I just think Spurs are too inconsistent to actually win enough games in any one competition to actually lift the trophy. You get a performance against Palace one week then the performance against Villa the next. Very frustrating.

Might have to wait until 2031 for the FA cup....

You are spot on regarding Vicario. Some of the saves he makes are outstanding.

He has been found out though regarding set pieces. Players crowd him now and he automatically thinks he has been fouled and doesn't react as he should. VAR finds him out time after time.

Wouldn't swap him for anyone else though due to his shot stopping .

Well he hasn't let in more goals than your shaky defence gooner!

Shaky defence? We've probably got the best defence in the league when everyone is fit. We lack a prolific finisher & don't have a good replacement for Odegaard when he's not available.

Both North London clubs will probably miss out on a trophy this season.

My feeling is we can beat anyone in the league so we have a shout at a cup possibly.

Too erratic for any top 4 spot I fear though.
