A 37-year-old Chinese tourist, identified as Mr. Shen, is awaiting updates from Pattaya City Police as they continue their search for three suspects who allegedly stole his white gold necklace, valued at approximately 120000 Baht, early morning on November 3.

The incident reportedly took place around 02.00, as Mr. Shen and a friend were walking along Pattaya’s popular Beach Road, near Soi 6. According to Mr. Shen’s account, the pair was approached by three ladyboys who offered their services and engaged in physical contact, including embraces and touching. When Mr. Shen and his friend declined the offer and attempted to walk away, the group appeared disgruntled and departed quickly. Shortly afterward, Mr. Shen realised that his necklace was missing.

Describing the encounter as lasting less than three minutes, Mr. Shen reported the incident to the Pattaya City Police Station. In response, authorities have initiated a review of CCTV footage in the area to identify and locate the suspects.

The incident has drawn attention to ongoing concerns around tourist safety in Pattaya, a bustling beach city known for its nightlife and attractions. Police are urging visitors to remain vigilant and report any suspicious interactions.

Not that it should need attention being drawn to it as the same has been going on for decades. I might suggest that the same perpetrators have been at it for some time too! When will this blight be removed.... they managed it with the jet ski scammers.

Why would anyone be so stupid to be running around with an expensive necklace at 2:00 am. Does he think it will get him the best LB's out there?

Don't even bother asking...the question has been posted a multitude of times before!

I even asked an Indian guy who was sporting much gold... I was told it was not safe to leave it in the room, and it is important for him to show off his wealth.

Why are they waiting? There are cameras everywhere and ladyboys are easily found as they pack together and are well known by the police.

why wear expensive jewelry there?  Showing off?  Vanity?  I wear my 8 USD armitron digital watch I bought over a decade ago at Wal Mart and it keeps great time.  Once one of the ladyboys did the old grope and distract attempt and as he/she got to my wrist and saw the cheap watch , the creature left me alone
