A Thai transwoman filed a complaint against a Chinese man for physically assaulting her after she rejected his advances in an entertainment venue car park in the eastern province of Rayong on Saturday, November 2.

The 25 year old transgender victim, whose name remains undisclosed, reported the physical assault to Pluak Daeng Police Station and shared CCTV footage from the car park of the entertainment venue with officers.

In the footage, the man in a yellow T-shirt, reportedly a Chinese national, approached the transwoman and attacked her. He pulled her hair, threw her to the ground, and punched her in the head. The victim’s friends and a bar security guard then intervened to stop the assault.

The transwoman gave an interview with Channel 7 on November 3, explaining that the Chinese man approached her from behind while she was with her friends at the bar around midnight on November 2. The man repeatedly tried to clink glasses with her two to four times that night.

The transgender victim believed the Chinese man was flirting with her but she was not interested. Later, around 2am, she and her friends left the entertainment venue and walked to their car. The Chinese man followed them and attacked the victim, as seen in the video.

The transwoman also shared images of her injuries with the media, showing wounds on her feet and knees. She obtained a medical report to submit to the police as evidence. As of now, Pluak Daeng Police Station has not yet provided an update on the case.

In a related incident, reported on November 1, a Thai man attacked a 19 year old transwoman in the Isaan province of Buriram. The attacker later confessed that his girlfriend accused the transwoman of criticising her on social media. The girlfriend then asked him to assault the transgender victim.

The couple told the media they believed they could end the legal proceedings by paying the victim 500 baht as friends used to do so. However, the victim insisted on processing the charge against the couple.

Something is tragically missing from this story as compared to the video. That man did not try to vye her services and get rejected. He attacked her knowing her from previously. I would bet money the ladyboy did something to the chinese man previously (probably robbed him) and he saw her later and attacked her in retaliation. Why would any man except a Thai assault a ladyboy in Pattaya because they did not want him specifically? Rejection is part of the search for what you seek. Surely, he got rejected before from other women or ladyboys.

Since this story is biased with only the ladyboys testimony, it gives credence to my theory.

"That man did not try to vye (sic) her services and get rejected. He attacked her knowing her from previously"....truly amazing.....How on Earth do you know all this?

Do you also know who will win the US election and this week's lottery numbers?

They certainly appear to 'know' each other or were at least aware of each other existence.

It appears the kathoey raised their hand....possibly to strike first, but in a very effeminate manner.....and the Chinaman went full on in a a fit of rage.

If this all occurred because of a simple rejection the Chinaman certainly has issues.......he could be just drunk of course, maybe the rejection was excruciatingly public and he lost face massively....who knows??????

I have a certain amount of sympathy for him, being considered not worthy by a katoey is a real insult, there are some people you would rather reject than be rejected by.

You are quoting out of context. He went on to say " I would bet money the ladyboy did something to the chinese man previously (probably robbed him) and he saw her later and attacked her in retaliation." His conjecture and very plausible

The video shows the attack, not the rejection.  That happened earlier two hours earlier.  He knew her because he tried to get her to clink glasses with him multiple times earlier, but she rejected him.

1, the ladyboy did do something, she rejected him.  2, This is Rayong, not Pattaya.
