There is a large segment of young men who are voting for Trump.

Did you cancel your flight?  Decided it won’t make a difference?

They advocate prosecuting both.

I remember within my voting lifetime when candidates were dropping out of races if they had illegal nannies or other employees in their past.  Back then, there were real consequences for hiring illegals.

I miss those days...

Secular humanism, I don't remember that which years are we talking about.?

Whatever happened to the previous boogieman, secular humanism?

That used to be destroying the US.

I guess the fearmongers know about short attention spans.

Yes, it was an American thing, I actually can't pin down the years but I think the responses to my post show that others remember it as well.

I didn't mean my response to be an attack, you responded very politely, I appreciate that.

Here is a  link to New York Times discussion from 1985, so that is the time frame.

That religious beliefs should not be forced on public schools. No educator would have anything to fear from secular humanists like that. Fortunately, they far outnumber their antagonists.

The NYT and an article from 1985 , I think boogieman seems a bit over the top though that is with the benefit of hindsight. One effect it would have had would be to strengthen the Catholic base (they would not need pressure) and weaken general Christianty.

To be honest, I don't think it matters who wins. It''s too late. The US is f***ed. UK and Europe as well.
