That's how I'm leaning.  But I know a Thai woman with two cousins whose older farang husbands have died under very suspicious circumstances.  If I remember correctly Britman mentioned a former girlfriend admitted to him she killed her farang husband.  I would have written his story off as unreliable had I not seen what I've seen with this Thai woman.

It's only a problem if you get married in the Philippines. If you get married abroad and don't report the marriage to the PSA there are no problems at all.

Many of us happen to prefer Thailand and Thai women, for a dozen good reasons. For me the Philippines reminds me of one enormous Tijuana, with really, really bad food. 

You often put yourself forward as an expert on the Philippines, but when asked about what experience you have there, you're always silent. How long did you live there? Did you have many relationships with Filipinos?

As for me, I prefer to live in Thailand, so after my divorce from a Filipino I need to explore my options with Thai women.

 

To offer some insight into this comparison, there are some very important points to consider.

 

Firstly, let's explore the population demographics of both countries:

So the Philippines is much poorer by a factor of 3.

Thailand: population 71.8 million

Median age: 40 years

Population 0 - 14: 30.7%

 

Philippines: population ~ 118 million

To summarize, there are about 6 million females below 15 years of age in Thailand vs 18 million in the Philippines. The number in the Philippines will continue to increase while the number in Thailand will reduce due to the much lower fertility rate of Thailand's population. Thailand's population is aging while The Philippines' population continues to grow.

 

There are roughly 3 times more available young females in the Philippines vs Thailand.

 

In the Philippines, unmarried, available females in the 18 - 25 age group without children are easy to find. In Thailand, most foreigners will date older women with children. With the much higher poverty rate in the Philippines you'll find that young, unmarried females without children are often desperate and willing to marry any foreigner they can find. Such is not the case in Thailand.

 

Also to consider is the social welfare system of Thailand is a lot better than in the Philippines, and that's an understatement.

I was not comparing Filipinos with Americans, it was just a comparison of derogatory terms, not races, Snowflake.

Truth be told, she was wonderful in the bedroom, couldn't get enough of it, but somehow after letting me get her two or three times daily she still found opportunities and energy to cheat on me with other guys. Also, she was good to me but nothing like a royal treatment at all. She was lazy around the house too.

My Filipino ex never cheated on me in over 20 years. Your girl probably became a nympho from working in the bar and she had what Filipinos call "an itchy pussy". It's fine, but don't paint all Filipinos with the same brush. Yours is an outlier. From my limited experience, some Thai girls can't get enough, and I'm not talking about bar girls.

 

Talking about Thai girls around the house. My current girl doesn't clean or cook for me but she pleases me in other areas. There are no rules, each girl has her own personality.

smartgirlphilippines - I can deal with personal opinions but not unbridled stupidity and ignorance. Before you comment about Thai women, have you seen what your Pinoy-types do in the city centre in Kuala Lumpur on a Sunday? I've been there and seen it and, let me tell you, they behave WORSE than the Thai women you described here. To the point their authorities have to go in and 'sweep' you people off the streets. So before you over-generalise something based just on what you see through a coloured pinhole, try to do some research first. Or better still, don't open your mouth and show the apparent lack of intellect. 

 

For the record, I have some mates who have married Filipinos. Wonderful ladies to have around. And, they hang out with my Thai friends (both male and female, married and single). So, if for some reasons you feel you need to bash Thai women like this, you're free to shove that view up your ****.

Because you were in Manila. If you go to Davao, Cebu, where they speak Cebuano as their first language, and often don't speak Tagalog well, English is a third language. Whilst they speak it, it's hit and miss, and often pigeon style hard to understand.
