Thai Boxing Advice

I will be in Bangkok with 15 univ students and they want to see some Thai boxing on a Friday or Saturday night. Can anyone advise:

- Best venue? Lumpini or Rachademnon?

- Can we/should we buy tickets in advance?

- Best seats for a reasonable price?

- How long/how many matches in an evening

Any other advice? I don't want to see them "scammed"

Thanks!

if you can wait until a sunday, you can go and watch thai boxing for free at channel 7 tv station

its out beside morchit bts station across the road from chatuchak weekend market.

starts around 1:30 in the afternoon, and usually has 5 or 6 bouts, this is the same boxing thats on the tv on a sunday afternoon.if you go i advise you get there early or you wont get a seat.

sometimes watching the animated antics of the bookmakers is more exciting than the boxing.

Both stadiums are the two top ones in bangkok so either would be a good choise

no need to get tickets b4 you go and dont think you would get them any cheaper anyway.

ive only had ringside seats and there around 2k

starts around 6ish finishes around 11.30pm.....
