12 months multiple entry Non-O marraige visa. Still available in December ( no E-visa ) ?

Featured Replies

I'm on a 12-month extension ( Non-O marriage ), which must be renewed in December. My wife and I don't want to deal with our local Immigration office. We ruled out obtaining a DTV (for now) due to the uncertainty, especially regarding reentry into Thailand.

I'd like to obtain a 12-month Non-O multiple entry visa. Seasoned 400k in the bank and leaving Thailand every 90 days are not a problem. Which embassies/consulates are still issuing this visa from December on? Would like to apply in person.

I believe Yangon is also an option, but might also require an appointment?  Those are the last 2 possibilities now that everywhere else has switched to e-visa already.  Once Laos and Myanmar switch to e-visa, it will be gone altogether.

Correct, Yangon answered my mail. They also sell the 12-month NoN-O. An appointment is needed; you can book a maximum of 14 days in advance. Every time I check, no appointments are available.

You probably need to find out what time they open new appointment slots and be ready right at that time.  I imagine there are a large amount of Burmese that want visas to Thailand with the current situation.

I spent hours the past days trying to book an appointment, but it seems futile. As soon as a new day available for booking is added it is already fully booked. Never been to Yangon before and wouldn't mind combining my visa application with a short holiday there.

Plenty of availability in Savannakhet if nothing shows up in Yangon.  Added bonus of no civil war.
