Popular Post CMHomeboy78 Posted November 11, 2024 Popular Post Posted November 11, 2024 FM radio stations in Chiang Mai are an unreliable source for BBC - or any other English language news. Go direct to the online sites of the news you want. 1 4 3
TucsonDavid Posted November 12, 2024 Posted November 12, 2024 https://surf.radio/surf from Hua Hin. BBC radio every hour.

Thingamabob Posted November 12, 2024 Posted November 12, 2024 If you must follow the BBC best to go online, or buy a True TV package with channels 780 and 785. 1

TheFishman1 Posted November 12, 2024 Author Posted November 12, 2024 I should’ve been more clear when I’m in my car driving on the hour I like to listen to news in English I used to get it at 98.5 FM in Chiang Mai that’s why I was asking people if they knew of any FM or a.m. radio stations in Chiang Mai Has news in English on the hour and yes I get news in English on my TV and I could go online to listen to it but I’m in my car driving I like to hear it on my radio and that was the question does anybody know of any English speaking news in Chiang Mai that they can receive on the radio in their car 1 1
gamb00ler Posted November 12, 2024 Posted November 12, 2024 Depending on your car's and your phone's capabilities, it may be possible to use your phone to connect to an internet source of English audio news and route it through your car's speakers. Apple CarPlay can do that with Apple phones.
TheFishman1 Posted November 12, 2024 Author Posted November 12, 2024 Thank everybody for their reply my question is are there any local radio stations in Chiang Mai they have news in English I used to receive it at 98.50 FM but for some reason now I can’t seem to get that station at all so if anybody knows of any local stations that have news in English please let me know thank you very much in advance
kickstart Posted November 12, 2024 Posted November 12, 2024 Just do what I do every day, get the BBC app on your phone, then use a Bluetooth speaker, job done, and I often use my desk top computer, if I am in the house. 1

He has one of those wireless things in his cars, not wifi, wirelessesss. I thought they were out with square wheels and mullets but what do I know. I would thoroughly recommend a CarPlay or android auto enabled head unit.

If the op has a play around, he could be able to get his local radio station online, the wife has found one local station online, where before she used to just Lisson to it on the radio.

Andrew Dwyer Posted November 12, 2024 Posted November 12, 2024 I used to listen to the BBC News on the hour also at 107 FM but the reception was bad. Then I discovered this app: Use CarPlay to connect my phone and can listen to BBC News when I want along with a multitude of other radio stations in English. Fark that Thai Khrap !!

He could .. but he’s quite adamant with his request. I have an iPhone so, CarPlay just works .. I stream music from my own home server, but the app has a radio function, somehow I it has the LBC stream without going to the global app. It also has all the BBC streams too, i kind of like the retro feel of a radio, rather than news on demand from an app.
