Israelis in Thailand on Alert After Security Warning

If it was about Israeli football hooligans, why are the muslims still rioting and attacking people a week later? https://edition.cnn.com/2024/11/12/europe/amsterdam-riot-police-soccer-violence-intl/index.html

And more to the point, why people now getting terror warnings in Thailand because of a soccer game half way across the world?

Please clarify if you didn't see any of the videos of the Israelis shouting death to Arabs. And did you see the videos when they forcefully removed a Palestinian flag? And do you think such behavior is perfectly alright? Or are you able to see that Arabs don't like it when others shout to kill them all. And we can keep in mind that many of those Israeli hooligans will have killed lots of Arabs as IDF soldiers.

I just remember some of  the chants the English 'fans' sing when in Europe. It's all about war and how how many Germans they killed.
Bad behavior, absolutely. But not a reason to ask every white man for his passport to check if they are English?

Israeli's have tried hard to colonize phangan since the end of covid, nobody really likes them. There have been fights and issues among the crowds itself in recent full moons due to that too. It for sure is the easiest way to target them.

I guess they did not think about that when moving to a remote island.

Israelis have been on Koh Phan gan for more than 30 years , they used to organise the parties in the 1990's

   That isn't true .

Israel are fighting back against the Hamas and Hezbollah terrorist groups, the two groups that keep attacking Israel for the reason they want Israel to stop existing ,

Not true. The main reason that the Israeli's are still fighting is a political one. They have absolutely no plan for what comes after when hostilities cease, and it is the only way that the war criminal Netanyahu can stay in his job and avoid criminal prosecution. Keep drinking the Kool aid!

Israeli authorities have cautioned their citizens in Thailand to be extra careful due to reports of a potential threat targeting them. This warning comes ahead of the famous Full Moon Party on Koh Phangan this Friday. As reported by the Times of Israel, the alert stems from a possible terror attack during the event.

I would have thought the Full Moon party would be the safest place to be... so many nationalities present no-one in their right mind would attack the beach party...

Stray away alone might be a different story though.

Anyone has been there since the 90's if you speak about that, has nothing to do with recent changes.

It was until it became an event where people carry flags to it.

You think many Muslims are at the Full Moon party?

The reason why Isreal are still engaged in the war is because hostages are still being held .

You do not know whether Israel has any plans for Gaza after the war has finished , but I expect that will depend on the situation at the time .

So should tourists avoid Russian owned Restaurants and other Russian based businesses in Phuket Hanuman ?

Based on the article it might be a good idea to avoid places and establishments that cater to Israeli citizens.  I take it you can read English why the confused Emoji ? I could type it out in Caps if you are not understanding the post.

One of my acquaintences from the gym in Pattaya is Israeli. We never discussed the war and get on just fine. I treat individuals as they come, I don't judge whole populations for any reason.

I can see by many of the comments on this thread that the Israeli Hasbara troll army has been here.

Thanks for pointing that out , and there was me thinking that the Nova party massacre where the Hamas terror attack happened was in Thailand

So your remark about a similar attack here in Thailand is very unlikely.
