Most countries are fed up with excessive immigration, thought everyone knew that

ESPECIALLY illegal immigration!  The US has one of the allowable immigration quotas yet still MILLIONS come illegally and too many local state/city governments provide for themwith tax monies of the local citizens.  The US also sends money to many of the countries from which these illegals are coming to alleviate some to the problems there but obviously that money doesn't get down to the poorer folks.  It is time to FIX this problem worldwide as many people die from just trying to make it to one of the western countries.  You don't see stories of folks lined up at the borders of N. Korea, China, Russia, Iran Afghanistan....except those lined up if any are on the inside of that border awaiting an opportunity to flee to the western country.  Because of this, most still remain very poor and many turn to crimes to survive but even knowing how bad it might be in that western country, they still have it better than remaining in their own country so I guess it must be really bad there!  But, it used to be than immigrants assimulated into the local country's culture but now they come in droves and want to change the country into the same that they fled from.  Time to export them! IMHO!

Why emigrate to the UK?

Too difficult.

Instead, far better to emigrate to either Africa or India.

I have heard that the South Sudan is particularly pleasant this time of year....

Also...

Just love his Mop-Top doo....

And, probably no quotas for Farang, either....

There's only one thing better than bumping into an American and that's bumping into a Brit.  Jolly characters with ravishingly good looks.  They have a rich and diverse range of conversational topics.  One of those is immigration.  Is immigration really an issue in the UK?  If so why has every government promoted more of it for the past 130 years?  Uh oh... maybe there's a deeper reason involving global economy and the plight of humanity.

I want to let everyone know this is a safe zone.  You are all beautiful.  Lets go though some of those naughty noodle issues that keep coming up every day.

Timmy:  I fear that immigrants might take my job.  I feel really sad.

Hmm.. that's a good point Timmy.  Well you see Timmy, humans are the most expensive thing in a company.  Sometimes businesses want to save money and they do this by hiring cheaper labor.  It's sometimes called outsourcing.  Lets look at the numbers!

Aged 23 and over:  £11.00 per hour
Aged 21 to 22:  £10.18 per hour.
Aged 18 to 20:  £7.49 per hour.

Immigrant:  £5.28 per hour

Timmy:  I pay taxes.  Why do immigrants get free houses?

Good question Timmy.  Well you see immigrants also pay taxes.  So they also get houses.  There are pink ones, green ones many different houses.

Timmy:  Why do some people look different from me?

Oh Timmy!  You are full of questions today.  Well a long time ago the UK stole toys from people and made them work in a process called indentured labor.  Those people also fought in wars for the British!  Oh my gosh!  Those people lived a long way away from us.  And their skin pigment is different.  As part of this deal they were given British passports.  Many of them couldn't make it to the UK but some did!

Timmy:  Why do people claim benefits and not go to work in the big building?

Wow!  That's a toughie.  Well you see if people don't read or go to big school and they only eat a basic grains and cheap food they are easier to TRICK!  This is sometimes called the Capitalist System.

Timmy:  The man on the TV said I shouldn't play with the other kids.

Yes, it's like when your teacher say 'no one can leave until Jack reads this sentence!'  It makes every one hate Jack and it turns people against each other.  But really, the teacher was the one being mean!  A nasty tactic.  Don't speak to that man again Timmy.

When did you last see an illegal migrant pay tax? Committing serious crimes disproportionate to your numbers in someone else's country also turns people against you too. I could go on, but you already know this and just want to project your far left opinions.

The fact  is there is only so many immigrants that a country can manage .
For example UK is a small country and cannot accept this continuing stream of people who have no work qualifications and will live in poverty . The degradation of the country is amplified every day.  Of course I feel terribly sorry for them, but it’s their own countries responsibility to look after their people instead of putting all the help and billions they receive into their own pockets.

Sadly those countries who we've, (the west and soviets), bombed to f***, alienated, installed autocratic, puppet leaders to subjugate the masses; Gaddafi, Saddam, Assad, numerous African ones I can't even mention, plundered their natural resources without improving infrastructure, jobs, education... The list goes on.

Which probably goes some way to explaining in the wake of 'The Arab Spring", then the surge of ISIS, the return of the Taleban, let alone Somalia, Chad and the troubles, (war, famine), throughout sub-Saharan Africa why there's millions ofmigrants trying to reach northern Europe and that holy grail of benevolence called the UK??

The only thing I find confusing🤔 in all of this illegal migration routes, dinghies crossing the channel daily etc is, why are the 2nd highest number of migrants using the people smuggling 'dinghies' route in 2024 coming from Vietnam?? I thought it was settled there? Or is it a move by triad gangs to establish a nail bar, (come or cum brothel), on every street corner in UK cities?? 🤔🤣

It's a right screw up whichever way you look at it and nobody in government has the political will to make some tough decisions.

I am not against migration or immigrants - but it has to be properly monitored, regulated, economically balanced and fit for purpose.

The immigrants are generally ignored and always will be. They  are in for a tough time parachuted into white communities, only thing they have is to form ghettoes ,loads of them, segregation is the only way

The police are having a good go of stopping this by taking all the electric bikes off the delivery drivers!

100 bikes!

Irony being you are an immigrant in Thailand.

You ever thought maybe Thai's hate this mass immigration that's been hoist upon them too? The Brits (especially the drunken, cheap charlies you find in Pattaya) are hardly the beacon of immigrants either. They make no effort to learn the language, don't mix into local culture, love their british breakfasts, pay for sex, and sole topic of conversation is immigration and a love for Nigel Farage.

You being a typical leftie and Wokie can't differentiate between immigration sponging off the nation with take take take and us in Thailand who only spend money

Very, very few of us are immigrants to Thailand.  My visa, probably like the majority of us, is clearly marked as a "Non-Immigrant" visa.

If you leave a Country you Emigrate, when you Emigrate to another Country you become an Immigrant, semantics don't count, just English.

The governments own statisitcs in the UK show immigrants bring more in, than take out. Do you have issues with xenophobia? Because the monetry intellectual argument is a fallacy.

And yaah Thailand really loves the cheap Brit tourists who flock here. The Brit who loves a british breakfast, goes searching the sun newspaper, sits in a bar on Soi Bukaho all day, and then pay for sex. Ooooooh love that sort of immigrant.

So what's the problem?

As long as they work, pay their taxes and contribute. If the official stats say immigration is a net benefit to the country, and we need immigration for vital work like doctors, carers, low paid labour etc, What's your issue?

Believe it or not, you see those big high rise buildings in Bangkok, they're built majority by labour from Myanmar. USA, Dubai, Australia all have high immigration numbers. Hell Thailand has let nearly 40 million tourists in this year.

No that's just fake news, latest stats are they cost more money, their low incomes contribute low tax to pay for the services they need when elderly

Except other stats show they aren't. Recent survey done by Cambridge academics - non partisan - showed the exact opposite and the average net cost over lifetime quoted was in the 100s of £K. You're also ignoring the various non monetary costs that multi-culturalism has had on social cohesion, costs of providing translators for all walks of public life, broken education system with kids from multiple countries in one classroom who don't speak English at home as their first language to name but two. Meanwhile, you get to sit on your behind in the sun in a country not subjected to mass immigration pontificating about why the UK needs more immigration.....right.

UK has had >15% (official census figures, the real ones are acknowledge to be far higher) population increase in the last 25 years. That's 10 million - officially. The UK is creaking at seams, I doubt you have any idea what it's like in major cities there now. Several where the indigenous population is in the minority and other to follow. I do know what it's like, I live there for a good part of the year although like lots of others, am planning to disappear for most of the time ASAP.  Thankfully, I'm in my early 50s and can afford to retire on a good income, most can't.

Speak to ordinary people and you'll find the prevailing mood really is that they have had enough. Social unrest in the summer was a portent of that. Labour are already heavily unpopular, looks like their support is evaporating as the turkeys realised they voted for Christmas. Of course, more immigration benefits Labour despite public murmurings to the contrary since they get the lion's share of that vote, aside from educated/established immigrants who've moved up the economic ladder. Tony Blair, ex UK PM, said it himself in the past...

Carefully managed immigration which is beneficial both socially and economically is good, what has happened in the UK is anything but.

And, tourists/retirement people in Thailand are hardly comparable. They are temporary visitors who the Thai authorities won't hesitate to remove if not desired. Thailand uses its visitors for their benefit, if that stops they won't partake.

Having said that, try getting a visitor's visa for your wife or gf in the UK now. A friend in Europe married to a Pinay, where  they've both got good jobs  and established residency there for 10 years, can't get a tourist visa now, despite her having had no issue previously. Meanwhile, we have all sorts arriving in the UK. The system is well and truly f**ked.
