How about you? You American? How does it feel knowing that OP has a better understanding of our politics than you?

Does he really?  Or is the OP spewing BS views that fit your narrative?

It's not a game for Ukraine.

It's a struggle to continue to exist as a sovereign nation.

Please explain when the Ukraine invaded Russia, compared with Putin's claim that it would be all over in 2 weeks, as the Russians were invading the Ukraine.

I want to see how you can twist that 180 degrees.

I don’t recall Putin claiming that it would be all over in 2 weeks. I believe that’s part of the western propaganda.

If you can show me a credible source for Putin’s claim, I would be more than happy to admit I was misinformed.

It's important to note that the Ukraine conflict is not purely a proxy war, as it also involves a complex mix of historical, cultural, and domestic factors that have fueled tensions between Ukraine and Russia. The conflict has also had a major impact on the Ukrainian people, who have suffered significant loss of life and displacement as a result of the fighting.

So you agree with my opinion it's a local conflict. Unfortunately the US decided to pick a side and join in the "fun". 2 years later it's 2 months till Putin gets what he wanted anyway. All those lives and treasure wasted for nothing.

The huge disrespect to the Ukrainian nation is in continuing to fund and encourage their further loss of life and territory...especially as a "peace"deal was on the table right at the beginning  scuppered by those who now as always  push for continual  endless wars.

IMO it's always been about greed on the US side- the greed of the 1% for bigger profits. At that time there wasn't a major conflict going on to which they could sell the most profitable death machines- missiles.

No, helping Ukraine defend itself against Putin is a moral choice.
