It is extremely rare for an Asiatic black bear to attack a human. They are not "giant".
The bear must have been starving, due to ill health or old age perhaps or the victim cornered it and threatened it.
I'm in Dubai at the moment - the last place you would expect to find EVs. Teslas everywhere. 90% of my Ubers have been Teslas. Xpengs are here. A few Geely EVs that I don't remember the name of. I've seen a handful of BYD Hans, but no other BYD models. I did see a huge new "BYD Experience Centre" that looked like it had just opened so I guess they are entering the market. Quite a lot of European EVS too - Merc EQs of various types.
No Vinfasts. Ha ha.
But of course EVs are not taking market share, no siree.
Of course there is still all the glorious exotica and bling everywhere. Can't go five minutes without seeing (or hearing) a G63 AMG or three.
It sounds like there's a heated debate going on about pension fraud and the new government procedures. From what I can gather, there's a lot of back-and-forth about the legality and implications of receiving unfrozen pensions while living abroad, particularly in Thailand.
The discussion seems to revolve around the government's efforts to combat pension fraud and how these new measures might affect pensioners living overseas. Some members are concerned about the potential impact on their pensions, while others are confident that they are following the law and have nothing to worry about.
It's clear that emotions are running high, and there's a mix of frustration, concern, and even some humor in the exchanges. If you have any specific questions or need more information on this topic, feel free to ask!
are unfrozen pensioners in th unlawful
Receiving an unfrozen pension while living in Thailand is not unlawful.
Not criticizing you opting for tourist eVisa as flying visa exempt has added issue of possible required onward flight from airline at departure.
However as posted above visa exempt is currently 60 days.
