Lethal injection now I believe Yes, last execution was in 2018, but I think this may be carried out because of the number of victims and the victims' families, plus she pleaded "not guilty" Most drug traffickers escape the death penalty because they plead guilty, I am told. 1 1

I wish Great Britain would re-introduce Capital Punishment for multiple murder & terrorism etc We have so many evil scumbags in jail, at the moment. Many have killed & raped children. Why does the tax payer have to pay for these people’s room & board? Let’s just execute these people. They no longer deserve to be part of civilised society. Why multiple murder> One is sufficient to warrant DEATH 1

Two years for her lawyer (what sort of lawyer colludes with clients and helps cover their tracks?), also out on a mere 100000 baht bail. Seems they were dealt with lightly and what's to stop doing a Red Bull run. Hardly unwavering stuff. AI journalism.

I’m all for death penalty to those who deserve it but There’s one good reason to stop it. There will inevitably be innocent people and the falsely accused put to death before they can prove their innocence. There have been dozens of people falsely accused, mostly black, executed in the US. Many others were exonerated just before their execution. In Southeast Asia, China, Russia, political prisoners are falsely accused and some executed. 1 1 3

scorecard Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago 4 hours ago, kwaussie said: Just plain evil, makes a joke of mainly Buddhist society. Stupid comment. There's vile people in every society / religion / culture. We had a neighbor opposite us in my old hometown who regularly beat up his wife and small kids with his fists and with a leather belt and an electric cord with plugs on both ends.. Several times either my dad of the man who lived next to the wife beater would go into the wife beater's house and tie him to a chair until the police they had called arrived. My dad and the other neighbour who helped took the wife and children to hospital several times and then brought them home after they got some treatment. Several times the wife and kids had broken arms, teeth smashed, and more. In those days family and children's services barely existed. He never got charged because his wife feared he would get even more severe revenge. The twist: On sunday mornings the whole family would go off to church (Methodist church) and the wife beater was a lay preacher and councilor. It happens in all societies unfortunately.

You get prison in the UK for shouting at a police dog, holding a sign stating the truth or posts on facebook, 2
black tabby12345 Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago After taking 14 innocent lives and doing own best to dodge the prosecution, the Death Penalty is the only thing that bit*h really deserves. The only problem is, if Thailand really carries out that execution as the court verdict. I have often hear this kingdom nearly abolished it while they officially retain it. The Capital Punishment only takes place occasionally(instead of doing to all the death row convicts) these days here.

However they can be dragged to a slow and painful death under an expensive sports' vehicle if the price is right and the crime committed by someone much richer than themselves. I would think that the unwavering might have cut a deal to provide evidence or direction to get AN Also wonder what will hapoen with the many appeals . She may die an old lady in prison the way the system works Edited 9 hours ago by kingstonkid

Cereal Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago On the same same but different thing...I live in Laos and there's a HUGE problem with tourists - backpackers - dying of methanol poisoning in Vang Vieng. News here is scarce, as one would expect in a Communist country. Do folks in Thailand have any news. It's made the Aussie national news. 3 dead: 2 Aussies and an American with many in serious life-threatening condition in the hospital.

Lethal injection now I believe The Heckler-Koch machine gun send a better message, but those conducting those bloody execution where probably mentally scarred, hence lethal injection. But agree with you - I doubt if it will happen. The drama will blow over and then the sentence will be commuted to life in prison. She'll be out on parole in 20 years.

They had three lines attached to the gun so those shooting would never know which one had fired the shot, according to David Macmillan who escaped from the Prem. They did used to have one man do it though, they made a film about him, affecting him quite a lot. Edited 7 hours ago by proton
stoutfella Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago "as her accomplices didn’t get off lightly either." "The cyanide serial killer’s ex-police officer husband, Police Lieutenant Colonel Witun Rangsiwutthaphon, has been given a one-year jail sentence while the murderer’s lawyer, Thanicha Eksuwannawat or “Lawyer Patch” got two years in prison." Doesn't seem to be particularly severe punishment.

I agree entirely but the problem I have is in the UK court system where an inexperienced defender can be up against a very experienced prosecuter and the innocent person could be found guilty. There has to be a way that before a death sentence is carried out, the accused must be 100% guilty, absolutely no techicalities.
smew Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago 14 deaths..wow.. an average shooting spree in USA death sentence:: released on next King's birthday

Kharma will take care of that. That's why so many people refuse to file charges upon somebody who did harm them.
