On November 20, chaos erupted in Pattaya's Soi Kopai neighborhood when a 36-year-old Indian man, Sunil, fired a blank gun into the air while intoxicated, causing panic. Responding to the late-night incident, police seized the unmodified firearm and 22 rounds of ammunition. Sunil claimed he fired the gun on a dare, unaware of the legal consequences. He was arrested and taken to Pattaya City Police Station for further questioning.
