"best english food in pattaya?"

I was carefully avoiding "English food" and "best" wording... 😉

But "Best Bangers" is fine. And that's what I want to eat. Trip to memory lane.

If you want real English Bangers 'n Mash you can't beat Nicky's just off Soi Bukhao.

They have 3 types, Cumberland sausages, Lincolnshire Swirl and a large yorkshire pudding with everything inside

Not wishing to be pedantic (because I agree 100% about Nicky's, never had a bad meal there)......but Nicky's is actually ON soi Buakhao opposite the double fronted massage shop whgere the girls wear orange.

It's moved, now behind 7 days massage

Not now it isn't. That location is being gutted for a new steakhouse.

Not saying it's the best but definitely great value. I-Rovers in LK Metro do bangers 'n mash special every Tuesday for 199 baht that includes a free beer (or soft drink, juice)

The beer is not FREE, it is included in the price.

I don't drink alcohol. Do they have 00,00% beer? Like Heineken? Or can I get something else, like juice, for free?

Where can I get this deadly but SO good tasting treat?

Jimmy's has for 225 THB but doesn't look appealing in pic. I don't like everything swimming in gravy.

Others?

Who's Jimmy's?

I watch Diners, Dives and Drive-Ins on Food Network, and some of the stuff served in so called restaurants looks so good, but is devoid of any nutrition, or cooking skills.

Plenty on You Tube. In fact, too many to decide which to go by. Same as sour dough bread.

I really didnt like the cheap sausages at Cheap Charlies (you get what you pay for but it's the core of the meal).

Wombat & Kiwi bar was much better for about 170 baht from memory

Venturing into Pattaya I love the Pattaya Beer Garden bangers 'n mash for 195 (great views as well)

There is a female waitress in Cheap Charlies who was very rude to me two days in a row when all I tried to ask was if I could order a carry out as I was staying in the hotel right next. A  great pity as I understand their food is excellent.

A big long street to try and find that.

Yes, you're right. I should not read such nonsense about 'Best English Food'.

On the other hand there isn't any good english food.

Good food should be light, tasty and healthy. Full of all necessary vitamins, minerals, proteins and carbohydrates.

And all this english food can't offer: rushers, sausages, pudding, beans or mashed potatoes is not healthy. Everybody with brain knows this. Of course there is excellent food in Britain available beside Fish and chips in newspaper served.

Maybe members here are too old to change their habits

What is unhealthy about mashed potatoes or beans. Maybe you should just stick to Thai food with lots of sugar.

Another vote for Nickys. I love their sausage and mash in a giant Yorkshire pudding. A great meal for 265 baht.

Yes, would be great but I hate onions.

Maybe I was unlucky two days in a row. I booked 4 nights in Maleez Lodge with the intention of buying carry outs to take to my room as I heard and read good things about Cheap Charlies.
