never has a newly elected party with a massive majority been so upopular so soon after an election.

Testiment to the sleaze from Starmer and his bogus election mandate.

Indeed.  No matter what they do to the UK, no matter how much the Pound Sterling decreases in value, no matter how many pensioners die this winter due to their cruel and unnecessary policies, no matter if the next 4.5 years are spent in recession, no matter if their partners in BlackRock buy up all the available farmland due to inheritance tax, no matter how expensive they make energy or even if the lights literally go out due to net zero insanity, and no matter how many repeats of Southport, there is literally nothing the UK can do about it.   That petition could have 50 million signatures and will be ignored and probably just blamed on the far right  or the usual suspects (Russia/China) again.

It would need an event of far more significance than any of the above (such as someone eating cake on a birthday when they were not supposed to), before the legacy media would even turn against them.

Looks like they are getting ready for an interview,  for a new job.

Can't see the flower that's squirts water yet.

It’s a testament to the power of the rightwing press.

Labour seem to have annoyed everyone by their policies .

Farmers , Council tax payers , Nurses , the Police , Pensioners  ,  the 1 in 5 of the kids in private schools even Asylum seekers .

But, its all the Daily Mails fault why Labour are so unpopular

Too bad for the malcontents. Tossing out a government because a small vocal minority are unhappy is not how the parliamentary system works in the UK. The people voted and must live with their  poor  choice until the government resigns or  calls an election.

Maybe people will think  before voting next time. It is not as if the candidates who would run in a new election would be any better than the last election. Conservatives have too much deadwood to do any better.

Yep, cunningly cancelled the OAP winter heating allowance and blamed it on Labour even though Labour had said previously they would take care of old people if elected. They don't come more dastardly than the Viscount Rothermeres of this world.

Comedy gold beyond belief

14 years of catastrophic looting of the treasury by the Tories that has tripled the national debt yet when the adults are put in charge and have to make very tough decisions to start putting it right the little Tory roasters start squealing

Why dont you absolute cretins start with Harding who managed to spaff £37 Billion on track and trace yet Germany with a similar population spent just £1 Billion

Get that oaf Johnson for starters in the witness box with electric probes on his nuts every time the lie detecter pings off

Labour are taking care of old people, they’re just not giving out heating allowances to pensioners who are not in receipt of means tested benefits.

Didn't Labour state in their election manifesto  that they would fully investigate the Covid response and the finances and they would prosecute any corruption ?

Labour were elected to deal with the issue stated  above .

How are Labour getting along with that pledge ?

They’ve definitely annoyed the hyper wealthy clique who control the UK’s rightwing press.

Its more to do with Labours performance , rather than the Right wing press .

   *Always someone else's fault*

I would accept that if the same media ranting about Labour had done half as much ranting about the extreme corruption of the past 14 years.

If I knew the answer , then why would I ask the question ?

So, I don't know , do you ?

Why would you expect me to know the answer when you don’t, I’m not your research assistant.

Write to your MP.

‘Entire electorate’?

Please do at least try to keep it real.

Talking of broken promises, maybe we could re-run the Brexit referendum in that case.

Nooo the people have spoken, the result must be lived with.

Unless of course it’s unfinished business’ or a Labour victory at a General Election, then it l’s gloves off.

No, that would be way off topic and besides , the Government didn't break any promises .

The promise was that there would be just one referendum  , would you want Labour to also break that promise and have another referendum ?
