Starmer Goes all in with Trump Praise at Prestigious Banquet
No, neither am an adjudicated rapist, a bankrupt, I don’t have a string of wives, I’ve never attended Epstein’s parties, I’ve never been convicted of anything in any court. My life has not been ‘uneventful’. I‘be seem zero evidence of Trump’s intelligence, but then he does hide the records on the matter. -

Thailand faces worsening air quality crisis, health warnings issued
Maybe Thailand should be banned from accepting 10,000,000 more tourists a year and more air pollution until it cleans up its air quality. Nah, didn't think so, the politicians would rather people choked to death if they can get more money -

Thai Economy Faces Strain from Chinese Goods Influx: BoT Chief Warns
Something I do not understand. I am a bit of a toy collector and regularly buy stuff off shoppee that comes direct from china, all stuff arrived and 99% was real (1 i bought I knew was fake so on my own head). Now I can get free shipping from China with shoppee. I buy something 400 baht, it travels all the way from china, through immigration, and arrives at my door for free in 5-10 days (had it in 3 on occasions). If I buy something on FB or from a shop here in Thailand, its more expensive and shipping is usually 40-100 baht. I'd have to say shipping is killing Thai goods more than cheaper costing goods ! -

Thai Rail Services Partially Restored After Flood Disruptions
File photo for reference only Floods in southern Thailand recently left rail services disrupted, impacting connectivity. The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) has swiftly acted, repairing damaged tracks in Phatthalung province and now allowing trains to resume operations at Hat Yai Junction. Several routes connecting Bangkok and Hat Yai Junction, such as Special Express 31 and 37, and freight services 985 and 986, have restarted, signalling a step toward normalcy. Additional services include Rapid trains running between Yala, Sungai Kolok, and Bangkok, ensuring vital passenger connections. Despite the progress, repairs between Hat Yai Junction and Yala are ongoing. Certain services like Special Express 38 and select local lines are operating from Hat Yai Junction to their destinations as work continues further south. The partial restoration of rail services marks an essential recovery phase, particularly for communities reliant on this connectivity. The SRT remains focused on achieving full service restoration, with updates to follow as repairs advance. -- 2024-12-04
