You can add Petchaburi/Prachuap Khiri Khan to the list - current reading in Hua Hin is 123 µg/m³; down from 156 yesterday.

It will get worse over the  Christmas/New Year's period as the  vehicle gridlock sets in. The amount of vehicle fumes on the 7 km   stretch from Index Living Mall at soi 23 down to the Ibis hotel at the start of Takiab is enough to knock a person out.

At some point it is going to impact tourism.  There are some days when I have to wear a mask the particulate is so bad.

Less worth it every year but still attractive place to get away from crazy western politics

Probably true for many

We live in both places but while in the US we do not have TV & live on a mountain in the country so politics don't really matter nor affect us. Of course we inevitably see things on internet but that is true in both spots.

...Residents are encouraged to stay informed through the Air4Thai.com and airbkk.com websites and the Air4Thai and AirBKK applications.

I need help. I cannot find the AirBKK application in the Google Play Store.

Currently, I have IQAir, เช็คฝุ่น (translation: check dust) and Air4Thai installed on my Android phone.

I say this is fake news, Just google Thailand, and I never see this. If this were true no-one would go there . It would be a health hazard.
