@home probably 10฿-20฿ depending on what’s on the menu

99 thb is enough for 2 or even 3.

"How does a 99 Baht breakfast really taste?"  Or  "What does a 99 Baht breakfast really taste like?"   Never how and like.   Edit:  Uh-oh!

  • You can cook the same breakfast at home using quality ingredients for less than 99bht

  • Normally good value for money - sausage, bacon, egg, tomato, beans,  toast and coffee/tea,  on a one off basis cannot be seen as being overpriced. If you start talking about quality, that is a di

My last 99 baht breakfast @ Nickys off Soi Buakhao Pattaya. Everything apart from the black pud is their 99 baht offering. The black pud was extra (25 baht).

Tasted great.

Indeed, but you have to buy a pack of bacon etc.

Saying it can be done at home doesn't help anyone looking to eat it out.

I only ever eat a cooked breakfast when i have spent the night in Pattaya. My go to is the Holiday Inn but sometimeas something quicker is called for and would like to see sensible answers.

I just had Mc Garrett Aussie oatmeal in my hotel room. I put oats into a plastic bag then to water boiler can, boil for 8 min and enjoy with strawberry jam. Price? Under 20 B.

I boil my eggs and reheat all meals same way. Works fine 😉 My gf was very impressed....

Need to change cooking vessels, avoid them microplastics.   Big fan of glass myself :coffee1:

Theres a reason why the food is cheap....you dont need to have a Masters degree to work that out, and yes the food served in Pattaya is generally poor, ive struck the odd establishment to be excellent go back a few times and it starts to sink low and lower.

When I was living in BKK one TGF use to pass one of those kitchens that set up at 5pm out front of a mechanical workshop near my condo, on one date she said they serve one of her favourite dishes, could we eat there sometime soon, I walked past this place many times, flys buzzing around dishes washed in the same water all night long, I though ok, I will do it, stupid me, ask her how her food was? she said it was great with a big smile on her face, my pork was tasteless and on the hard side, and pretty soon in bed with food poisoning, she must have had a cast iron stomach, she never asked me to go there again, this story is a bit on the extreme side but I dont recall leaving a restaurant thinking that was ordinary when I was living in BKK or the many times I was in CM, but Pattaya honestly like the infurstucture the food is ordinary most of the time.....glad im a half decent cook.
