glegolo18 Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 Hi guys, I have found a place with decent merchandize that I would like to order. I cam up to deciding sizes and I was completely over it. Plse check this photo with sizes. If anybody can put these SIZES in order from smallest to biggest size that would be great. I myself are used to put them in order, XS,S,M,L,XL,XXL,XXXL AND SO ON... Thanks for your help.... glegolo
Celsius Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 how fat are you? I am 195cm and 94kg and 5xl shirt doesn't fit me. These are china measurements. The situation gets better with shorts as they stretch. This particular site has a typo. After XL it is probably 3Xl 4Xl 5Xl
Hummin Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 I only buy from sites who have a measurement charts showing eu, us ,Asian comparisons. Been very accurate for those shops I have found on lazada. 2

impulse Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 I don't buy shirts in Asia online for that very reason. I can go to one kiosk in BoBae market in Bangkok and an XL fits fine and the next one, it'll be 2XL, and the next it will be L that fits. Theres' no consistency in shirt sizes. (Edit: And no consistency in fabric quality) And I'm not a serial returner like a lot of people, so I'm stuck with what I ordered online. My bad. I rarely go out specifically clothes shopping in BKK because it's so hard to go anywhere and not find a bunch of clothes for sale. I just buy what I find when I'm out doing other stuff. The one exception is Songkran shirts out of season. I love 'em, and I'll make a special trip to the BoBae area just to buy them out of season. 1
CharlieH Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 The other thing to check with sizes is whether its "to fit" or "actual size" then you have regional variations (Asia) Letter sizing like XL is pretty meaningless as a 4XL in asian sizing is barely a Large in comparison. It is a difficult situation when buying online for sure. There are websites out there that will detail the sizing properly and tell you if its "to fit" or "actual", One way is to measure a shirt you already have from side to side then go looking to match it. I get my shirts made to order from here: charlieharpershirts.com and they'll adjust to any size needed. 1

KhunLA Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 I've only bought clothes online from 2 vendors in USA, and only because I also use to shop at their brick & mortar stores; Eddie Bauer and another that escapes me. Alterations were free, usually. Hard enough buying in stores here / TH, since many materials aren't pre-shrunk before assembled. Did find a couple brands that sizing was good & consistent. Now the wife makes everything.

I have bought shorts shown as 36in but when i measure them barely 34 in. I never buy clothes on line now.
novacova Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 Nothing in east Asia fits me and dare not purchase clothing online unless I’ve worn the exact product before. Only solution that fits me is to stock up while in the US.
seajae Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 I have a 45" chest and have a hard time finding shirts to fit, thai sizing makes me think that thai men like to think they are big when they are not. A 5xl is still tight across my chest in most cases, I look for sizing that has the actual measurements and then allow for the variance as they are always a few centimetres out, have most luck when there are sales etc in shopping centres as they try to get rid of larger sizes as most thais have smaller chests.
