Are you personally rejecting her application to join the working class ?

On what grounds are you rejecting her application ?

I got the impression the thinks she’s already a member.

Expand…..I’m already pushing 86 kg!!!!

What relevance has "she wasn't not a politician when she was 16 and first came to the UK" have to the topic of what she is now claiming?

Yea we know, all you have is its absurd. Rinse and repeat

I have a great deal more.

I have outlined the deep historical and cultural context of working class culture.

It’s not something to be temporarily donned while working in McDonalds or, as many middle class students do, while living in student accommodation in cheap working class neighborhoods.

Surulere is a very beautiful place with lots of attractions. It’s located in Lagos State, Nigeria. Different people have given different opinions on why they like or dislike Surulere, but whatever your reasons, there’s no doubt Surulere has a lot to offer.

The hell hole Kemi grew up in…..???

How is that relevant to around 30 years ago?

No, you have said its absurd, numerous times in fact you cant stop saying it but you still have nothing. I suggest you read the links in this topic or watch the videos to what she actually said in its entirety first before making continuous baseless claims.

She’s a politician and like ANY politician she will paint a picture that she thinks will put her in a good light…..Claiming (truthfully or otherwise) that she was brought up by her GP father and University lecturer mother in abject poverty is up to her.

What the electorate shouldn’t do is simply accept was she says as fact……nor should the electorate accept claims of this nature, by any politician, as fact.

Just weekends…..yes, apart from the school and college holidays, then I might get more days.

Private company building bespoke houses so we worked weekends….cheap labour.

Were you working for your dad?….No. Father died from oesophageal cancer when I was 14.

Mainly mixing cement…….for some reason by shovel…no cement mixer??…... Ditch digging, pipe laying, soak aways.

Don’t tell Brian you are asking these questions…..you’re not supposed to be interested.

So, where did all your money come from ?

   Working class means

"a social group that consists of people who earn little money, often being paid only for the hours or days that they work, and who usually do physical work:

Wasn't you a high earner earning big money , as you previously clammed ?

What right do you have to claim that you are still working class ?

But you don't need cement to dig ditches or to lay pipes or to make soak aways .

How many cement  mixes did you do a day and how many ditches did you dig ?

It costed 3 Pound a day to hire a cement mixer back then , why would they pay you more to mix cement by hand ?

Are you pretending to be working class ?

Father was a director of ICI.....a huge chemicals company in its day.

By the time I was 32 I was a main board director for a group of companies operating in the fluid power market sector.

I 'retired' at 40 to work for the MOD as teacher of advanced physics. Retired (again) when I was 60.

I would never claim to have been 'rich', but have a natural tendency to live within my means, so certainly never short of money in that respect.

And now I live mainly at my wife's expense.......
