It was reported here and many other places in depth at the time.

No it wasn't, the only information is "He is a nice guy, and he lost his leg and he needs help" No where is there any information on the crash so unless you can post a link stop your lies

The original incident in which he crashed his bike, not this thread, was well-reported in the press and here in this forum.   That you won't look for it does not mean my comments are lies.

I did look for it and couldn't find a single story about it, I tried using Krabi and Andy Davis as search words and the only articles I could find were dated Nov20 or later and as I wrote in the post you quoted "No it wasn't, the only information is "He is a nice guy, and he lost his leg and he needs help""

And since you won't or can't post a link to any article that gives details of the actual crash, I stand by statement that your comments about the accident being reported in depth to be a lie.

Prove me wrong and I will most humbly apologize. Until then I will stand by what I said.

He probably just wants to be near to his family.

Plenty haters on here trying very very hard to find evidence that the lad was drunk.

Since the most quoted news articles at the time of the accident never mention alcohol , the usual forum misanthropes say he must have been drunk.

Anyway, he's back home and getting the best care the NHS can offer, due to the kindness of mostly strangers.

This is just another of those "He is a nice guy, and he lost his leg and he needs help" "Please donate" Nowhere is there any information on the circumstances of the crash so while I appreciate the link it doesn't change my mind.

Oh. I'm not here to change a suspicious mind. However theres a lot more to the article than you say. I suspect he is indeed a nice guy.

I am not 100% sure but I recall that I have read that he was filming himself with he´s phone when he was driving he´s motorbike.  But again I might remember wrong. Actually I HOPE I remember wrong because that is really, really stupid.

Yes, you're wrong.

Andy Davis is a genuine nice guy who unfortunately lost a leg in a motorcycle accident in Thailand and needed financial assistance to be repatriated.

On the other hand, @Chwooly is a just another misanthrope, living his empty and spite-filled life vicariously through the pages of an anonymous internet forum in a rather parochial Southeast Asian backwater.

I was also wondering the same question. Bumrungrad Hospital has some of the best doctors and the facility is excellent. Returning to the UK for what? Socialized medical care and year long waits. Not only that, the nurses in the UK are fat and ugly.

When you suffer a catastrophic injury and require access to state of the art surgical procedures and a support network, you will have a different view.

Yes,  but he won't come back on here and post his change of view.

Not lies - just absolutely meaningless. Regurgitating over and over that the circumstances leading to the accident was "well-reportet". but refusing to provide an informative link or just simply answer the initial question posted

right at the start of the thread
