This is just another of those "He is a nice guy, and he lost his leg and he needs help" "Please donate" Nowhere is there any information on the circumstances of the crash so while I appreciate the link it doesn't change my mind.

Oh. I'm not here to change a suspicious mind. However theres a lot more to the article than you say. I suspect he is indeed a nice guy.

I am not 100% sure but I recall that I have read that he was filming himself with he´s phone when he was driving he´s motorbike.  But again I might remember wrong. Actually I HOPE I remember wrong because that is really, really stupid.

Yes, you're wrong.

When you suffer a catastrophic injury and require access to state of the art surgical procedures and a support network, you will have a different view.

Yes,  but he won't come back on here and post his change of view.

Yes, You are lucky, It would be a tragedy if you actually had to think about your responses. of course I am aware you use emojis in an attempt to be relevant. most find them ridiculous and juvenile. But hey you do you.

Probably because it is like the poster below assumes.

Yeah, sounds like logic, and after thta get rewarded with other peoples money for an unnecessary flight home.

Have you looked at yourself? If not, buy a mirror.

Oh, the little boy wanted to go home for Christmas, so mummy started a GoFundMe for him.

You better pray you never have such an accident . You may keep your mouth closed about go fund me .He was working, he had  valid insurance, no booze found, he was in  a very bad way with more ops on the way. As I’ve said before, not everyone has 50 000 € savings just waiting to be of use. He is better at home with his family by his side . What makes you think you have any right to order what’s best for other people ?  I for one wish him all the very best as I’m sure most normal people on ASEAN would.

Good to see a happy story for a change. I wish him health and a speedy recovery. Not everyone is fortunate when it comes to go fund me. I started one for a Thai lady whose leg was shattered in a motorbike accident and I got all of $60 US. I sent her $500 US. I guess it matters how many western friends you have and if your big on Tiktok and/or youtube.

did she require repatriation?

So obviously it hurts you, isn't it? And then you feel right to insult again? Pathetic.

I genuinely think you have mental issues. What are u talking about, I simply told u what my thai specialist advised me, I actually said something related to the topic. It was u that simply had nothing to say related to the topic and could only insult. Again,  it just shows a lack of knowledge and intelligence.

Well, if insults belong to your daily habits, please don't contact me. I'll block you.

Not lies - just absolutely meaningless. Regurgitating over and over that the circumstances leading to the accident was "well-reportet". but refusing to provide an informative link or just simply answer the initial question posted

right at the start of the thread

Why should I have to search for a link to save you from doing it?  Do it yourself!

Why no details about the crash?

Just maybe it's already been posted.

"does not need a repatriation flight"

Why it was necessary to fly back to UK?

Docs often or most are better than in NHS.

Can you provide any proof of your accusation

Yes, you're wrong.

But it does appear he was at fault for the accident.

Despite insisting faulty brakes were the real culprits behind the crash, McDonald was forced to dig deep into his pockets, shelling out a shocking £700 (31,000 baht) in damage and compensation costs to the other driver.

It was not "well" reported, the article that appeared in AseanNow, states, and this from his friend, he was on the back of a motorbike taxi, the driver later found to be drunk, no other information, so a lot of questions could be asked.

He does not like backing up his comments... a simple link proves too hard

He is elderly, maybe he doesn’t have good computer skills.
Probably a bit forgetful as well.

What?!?! He was on a rented scooter, and he was actively livestreaming to TikTok, and he crashed while doing so, and was found at fault for the accident. He blamed the accident on his rented scooter, that he states had "faulty brakes", he must have learned that from a Thai. Unless you and I are reading two different stories?

Wait, do not paint all us oldies, with the same brush, I would put my PC skills above many younger people... and I'm 70 years old.

Well there we have it.

The reason his insurance is not paying and the reason why the fluff piece to get sympathy for his gofundme didn’t mention the details of his accident.

Well that is right Aussie.

Alzheimer's doesn’t get to everyone and you are a prime example. You probably have a much younger wife also that helps.

One of the symptoms of Alzheimer’s is a “nastiness” in general.
