Victoria Thomas Bowen, a 25-year-old OnlyFans model, narrowly escaped jail after throwing a milkshake at Nigel Farage during his general election campaign in Clacton-on-Sea. The incident occurred on June 4 outside the Moon and Starfish Wetherspoon pub in Essex, where the Reform UK MP, aged 60, was campaigning.

Bowen was sentenced to 13 weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months, at Westminster Magistrates Court on Monday. She had previously pleaded guilty to assault by beating and criminal damage. The deputy senior district judge, Tan Ikram, also imposed additional penalties, including 12 rehabilitation activity requirement days, 120 hours of unpaid work, and financial reparations.

The court heard that Bowen acted spontaneously after seeing an online post about Farage's rally in her hometown. Upon spotting him leaving the pub, she decided to act because, as she told officers, she "had the opportunity" and "did not agree with his political views."

The milkshake caused £17.50 worth of damage to a jacket worn by Farage’s security officer, James Woolfenden. Bowen was ordered to pay £17.50 in compensation for the damage, as well as a £154 victim surcharge to Farage and £450 in court costs.

In a victim impact statement, Farage expressed his humiliation over the incident, which was widely broadcast on national and international media. He described feeling deeply unsettled, noting, "I was thoughtful for some time afterwards that next time it may not be a milkshake." He also highlighted growing concerns over his security, adding, "I'm saddened that this has happened at a public campaign."

Despite the disruption, Farage went on to secure the Clacton-on-Sea seat, unseating Conservative incumbent Giles Watling. Bowen’s actions may have drawn media attention, but they also underscored the tensions surrounding political campaigns and public discourse in the UK.

Predictable in 2 Tier Britain. Throw milkshake in Farage's face? No jail. Same as the guy who threw rocks at him. No jail time in that case either.

Criticize/repeat Labours immigration policy on Facebook? Do not stop. Go to jail.

It's open season on Farage. I wonder how long before someone is empowered to throw acid at him like Jo Brand suggested? Also, no charges for that incitement to violence, obviously...

They've also buried the trial of the Labour violence inciter Ricky Jones (who publicly called for throats to be slit) on Trump's inauguration day so I think we all know how much jail time he will get.

Back to your misrepresentation of the crimes online hate mongers and incisors  of violent race rioting  were jailed for.

Exactly.

Can you imagine if a right wing guy did this to someone like Lammy. He'd have done 2 years minimum. I can hear Starmer now. [INSERT NASAL VOICE] "We cannot have this hateful threat to our Democracy. We must set a clear message that attacks on our politicians will not be tolerated blah blah."

The 2 tier system is sickening. They've basically given carte blanche to attack right wing politicians.

Pure imagination.

Farage’s milk shake assailants is a first time offender, she’s caused £17.50 worth of damage, which she has to pay $171.50 reparations, she’s sentenced to 13 weeks in prison suspended for 12 months, she has to perform 120hrs of unpaid work, has £450 of court fees to pay and now has a criminal record.

Hardly ‘carte Blanche’.

We've been through this many times Chomps. The guy I am talking about did nothing of the sort. He repeated/questioned a policy that Angela Rayner had already stated. He did not call for violence.

Stop gaslighting. It's become boring.

Yes we have Jonny and every time you ignore the actual court records of the convictions and crimes committed.

No calls for violence. None. Not even suggesting it.

They ARE coming to a town near him. Rayner said so. He is asking what will happen when they arrive.

Posting pictures of Asians leaving a boat is not a crime.

Stop with your disingenuous nonsense. I won't be assisting you with your post count on this issue again.

I would like to have seen the court go further and confiscate any earnings the assailant made by posting her attack against Farage online.

There is a clear financial incentive to commit crimes and post them online, this needs stamping out.

Thank you Jonny, the link you provided details the actual ‘racially aggravated ’ crime he confessed to.

Your linked article makes no reference to back your claiming he was questioning any policy, Angela Raymor doesn’t get a mention nor does the young woman who assaulted Farage with a milk shake.

Which perhaps as good a point as any to rerun to topic.

P.O.S

Should be in jail.

The uk needs to set an example to these type of people.

That,  this  sort of behavior will not be tolerated.

Do we need to wait until some one is seriously hurt or killed.

Oh wait, two politicians already dead, in resent years.

Wake up, the uk justice system, and deal with the real issues instead of sending people to jail over hurty words on face book.

what a disgrace, the uk is becoming now days.

So if you were walking down the street in a nice suit on your way to a meeting and someone threw a milkshake in your face you'd be fine with it?

I guess some people are incapable of standing up for themselves, other than on internet forums.
