Personal opinion is always appreciated...where did you experience Ramsay's cooking?

New York and Las Vegas!

Which restaurants and which was just average?   What were the prices you were charged?

Didn't Arnold Swarzenegger, Bruce Willys and Silvester Stalone tried to start a restaurant in Bangkok ???

And how well did that go ???

Your point?

The big problem I have is that you have a big price tag and get just enough to call a snack.    Give me RR Rib at Landmark at least there you get a meal that fills you up.

Which of Ramsay's restaurants only served you enough to call a snack and what was the price?

I wonder if the Thai chefs and support kitchen staff will understand his abusive language when things don't go right?

"Get the f... out of here"

They won't have to, he'll never be there.

The GR one in Emsphere never seems to have anyone in it

You've surveyed it?   Over what period or was there just no one there on the occasion that you passed it?

The answer to your question is, no, B790 for a two course lunch in a  restaurant of high repute in a salubrious location is not astronomical in any way.

It all depends on the food, if it was terrible, it was overpriced, if it was good, them its fine, as I said relative.

I agree and that is the point, you are paying for a 'name'.

Yes quite possibly, but it depends what you ordered. Generally 'named' restaurants do tend to be more expensive.
