New Chang Beer
I have no doubt it did but was not going to turn it down if it didn't meet some time limit. Luckily tasted as intended in sure, just like cold lager. -

Chiang Mai fraud suspect arrested for bamboo blind scam
Photo courtesy of KhaoSod By Puntid Tantivangphaisal A significant fraud case involving over 50 victims duped into paying for bamboo blinds they never received has culminated in the arrest of the alleged perpetrator. Since 2018, numerous complaints have been filed, with victims coming forward to report being scammed by a Facebook page with a misleading name. The accused, who had been evading the police, was finally apprehended in Chiang Mai. The culmination of the case unravelled yesterday, December 18, when police from the Region 5 Investigation Division, under the supervision of Worapong Khamlue, coordinated with central police to arrest the suspect. The suspect had been hiding out in Chiang Mai, after allegedly committing multiple frauds in Chon Buri. “We received intelligence that led us to believe the suspect was in the area, and we worked with local police to confirm his location.” The suspect was tracked to a village in the San Kamphaeng district, where he had lived two years ago with an ex-girlfriend. Although the two had since separated, investigators had been monitoring his mobile phone activity in the area. With this information, they secured a search warrant and proceeded to the location, only to find he had moved to another district, Saraphi. Local administrative officers and the residential management of Bua Khae Village provided crucial information that aided the investigative team in their pursuit. Subsequently, police followed the lead to Saraphi, where they finally located and arrested 32 year old Thanakornwit, in compliance with a Chiang Mai Provincial Court warrant. He faces charges of fraud and deceitfully introducing falsified information into a computer system, causing potential harm to individuals. During interrogation, Thanakornwit confessed to the crimes. He explained that he originally operated a legitimate business selling bamboo blinds, advertising heavily on Facebook. This online promotion attracted a large customer base, resulting in an overwhelming number of orders. However, due to production delays at the factory, he was unable to fulfil these orders. Compounding his problems, he misused the funds for personal financial issues, leaving him unable to procure the products for his customers. “I started with a legitimate business but things spiralled out of control when I couldn’t keep up with the demand.” His actions resulted in numerous complaints being filed across various regions, particularly in Chiang Mai and several other provinces. Police have now taken Thanakornwit into custody at Chang Phueak Police Station, where he will face prosecution. They are also coordinating with other investigators handling related cases to ensure comprehensive legal action is taken against him, reported KhaoSod. Source: The Thaiger -- 2024-12-19 -

Here's what happens when the world's richest man buys the presidency
Trump has about 30% of Americans in his cult of personality. The other 20% are people he has conned. I am not American, I don't care if I don't attract people to my side of the fence. I call it as I see it, and I doubt there are many so-called aliens who regard the election of a felon and sexual predator as anything but a sick joke. Support your foreign allies? Trump is an isolationist who wants to disengage from the rest of the world. As for illegal migrants, be careful what you wish for. Without them, the crops that feed America would stay rotting on the ground. -

Thai woman exposes employer’s lewd advances, explicit messages
Photo via MGR Online By Petch Petpailin A Thai woman took to social media to expose her employer, a restaurant owner in the Isaan province of Khon Kaen, for sexually harassing her by sending lewd messages and pictures, including an image of his penis. The 30 year old victim, Nat, resigned from the restaurant and filed a complaint against the owner at Mueang Khon Kaen Police Station. She later shared her story in a Facebook group for Khon Kaen residents to warn others, especially women, to avoid working at the place. In an interview with Channel 8, Nat revealed that she heard rumours about her employer’s inappropriate behaviour when she first started working at the restaurant. However, as nothing happened to her at the time, she chose to ignore it and continued working. Nat worked there for five months before the harassment began. The issue arose after she viewed an explicit picture shared by her employer on social media. The employer noticed her among the viewers of his post and sent her a message. “Don’t be unrestrained when looking at the pictures I share, OK? But if you’re interested, I can open a whole new world for you.” The employer then asked Nat for sex and invited her to join him in watching swinging activities at a hotel. Nat refused his advances and firmly stated her lack of interest. She immediately planned to resign and began searching for a new job Pervert employer While waiting for new employment, Nat endured continued sexual harassment from her employer, who persisted in sending her lewd messages and invitations for sex. He also sent her explicit pictures of his penis or sex toys daily, boasting about his sexual prowess with messages such as… “I usually pay 5,000 baht for sex. I’ll double it for you. Is that OK?” “Everyone wants to have sex with me when they see this (sending a picture of his penis). Don’t you want to try?” “I know you want to have sex with me too but you are too shy.” The harassment escalated when the employer sent Nat videos of himself masturbating while drunk and continued to pressure her for sex, even offering her money in exchange. Although Nat eventually left the restaurant, the harassment did not stop. The employer ordered other staff members to search for her at her accommodation and her boyfriend’s workplace, attempting to bring her back to the restaurant. Feeling unsafe, Nat decided to leave the province altogether. Nat urged the police to expedite their investigation and take her case more seriously. She expressed concern that the restaurant owner might flee before police acted. Channel 8 reported that its team attempted to contact the restaurant owner, but he declined to speak with the media.
